Thankfully there is one absolute truth that gives me hope: Nothing lasts forever. raible 95 The backlash would have happened sooner or later. Society doesn't go in a straight line, but works more like a pendulum. It swings one way, and later swing a bit more the other way. Even if Hitler won, conquered Europe like he planned, maybe even won in Russia, people would still rail against the genocides and the brutal conditions of non-Germans. It was still a harsh regime, something that was way too militaristic and unbalanced for long-term prosperity, imo. The grass is just greener on the other side, in the end. Now we want traditional morality and common sense back, because we have felt the damages and ravages of 'progressives' ideals.

Read up on Giuliani's failure to provide NYC police and firefighters with adequate radios before 9/11. Most of the first responders died because they never got the order to evacuate the buildings. This is why Giuliani will never be president. Police and firefighters would expose his incompetence.
