it depends on what you read...ive read some liberal magazine articles and it completely frames it all wrong. It makes Marcus out to be a liar and a douchebag. Its a long story, but after Gulab saved Marcus in Afghanistan, Marcus kept his word to help his family out. Marcus raised money, he was able to help them move temporarily to india, he helped Gulab visit the US a couple times, but Gulab didnt feel at home here and he wanted to go back to afghanistan and his land, family, etc. despite the dangers...but after meeting together to talk about the Lone Survivor movie, Gulab expressed how his version of the story was different. He admitted that his memory wasnt clear, but still made claims like when he found Marcus he had all his magazines on him as if he never fired a shot. Things like that which i believe were complete bogus, but Gulab insisted still. Of course the story is never perfect, but Gulab made some crazy claims, Idk if he meant to given the tough language barrier, but there was some tension and arguments between the two about it, and it ultimately hurt their relationship. Its sad. Gulab felt betrayed, Marcus felt betrayed. They couldnt get passed a feeling that each other have changed and such also. I dont think either of them meant ill toward each other. Gullab stormed off all upset and the two dont really talk anymore. Marcus kept his word for a while, but when things got messed up after the drama, Gullab didnt want money despite agreeing to split the movie profits, etc. Idk its a confusing mess....but it's not what those evil fucktard traitor liberals are saying, pardon my french..but seriously they always have to slander every veteran and hero, be it Marcus luttrell, Chris Kyle, Christopher Mark Heben, whoever. They are dishonest and hateful. Seriously fuck the left, they are traitors who hate our veterans...

As an Army veteran, I say Hooyah Marcus! Marcus is a man and a patriot. When I say man, it is a compliment. To be a man used to mean something - it means everything he talked about in his speech and the way he's lived his life. Today we see lots of little boys running around making noise. You see these little boys making noise on their internet keyboards or protesting in the streets based on lies, while real men like Marcus serve their country and serve their brothers in arms and the veterans. I'm a veteran and am doing quite well but I can't hold a candle to Marcus's accomplishments, but I can sure follow his leadership. Real men like Marcus Luttrell and Sheriff Clark are what this country needs more of.

I don't agree with all trump says but I'd rather have a failed businessman for president than a corrupt failed lawyer any day. it always amazes me to see who reply to these videos. you can really see the hate for this country and those who love to pretend to be American. thanks to our vets you live free to show your ignorance and dream of your utopia. If you think that is sad, you should look at Gulab, the hero that saved Marcus Lattrell's life. He has a different account of what occurred, and isn't making $20k speaking fees. War is hell. But at the end of the day, Gulab shouldn't be living off food stamps while Macus goes around the country earning hundreds of thousands of dollars in speaking fees perpetuating a very tall tail (i.e. speaking at the RNC).

I met Marcus and several othrrs on The Patriot Tour..a incredible man. And it's not the blood & guts thing. it's his human element
