Turkey was simply the better team for a big part of the match. A few moment decided it. I'm glad we got through but saying we should have rolled Turkey is lunacy!

I was rooting for Oranje but I do feel for the Turkish fans who brought so much life to the tournament; they can at least be proud of their team. As for Holland, I had my doubts on Koeman's appointment but man did he prove me wrong. He's substitutions have been spot on in every single game and he installed a never say die attitude on the Dutch that were infamous on their infighting and self-implosion.

'Brought so much to the game' booing and whistling through many of the national anthems. Angrily whistling whenever the opposing team had the ball. In the stadiums I found them to be the most obnoxious fans of all.

@@glindaiserrobo8746 I do not agree. The matches, especially the latter and more important 2 were full of action, tactics and individual/collective spirit. Have you ever heard of Baris Alper Yilmaz before the tournament? Tonight, the infamous Dutch defense met him. The team is the 2nd youngest in the competition and proves to progress in the meantime. (Further, I personally do not recommend you to underestimate the Dutch since they are around these stages for a long, long time.) To me, our team will be remembered congratulating the Austrian team off the pitch after the final whistle. This is not a failure, at least for those thinking like us back in Turkey. Thank you.

They’re all gassed out of the lives. So many matches throughout the year, so many tournaments France is always the favourite and even reach the later stages. It gets to you sometimes. I think they will beat Spain.

Frimpong and Zhirkzee were two of the best performing players in Europe this past season with the two surprise teams Leverkusen & Bologna, but why don't they feature much for the Dutch ? I think i recall someone saying Frimpong hasn't impressed when he's played and Zhirkzee I know only got a call up last minute to due to an injury and he only played around 5 mins last night, these are to game changing matchwinning players but they aren't being used. Shocking.

This was such a noisy chaotic segment. Having frank, macca and Craig who all wanna be heard makes it a shouting contest. Can’t wait for the season to return so the normal crew will return to the studio with Shaka, Nicol, moreno etc. much better synergy

Super Mario is right, Weghorst works best off the bench in 2nd half. He can't deliver the goods for full 90 but he's the super-sub when needed. Every time he's entered a game in this competition it's gone well for Holland, either scores or creates chances for others with his hard work and bulk. A big striker that's not great in air or prolific I guess that makes him the orange good luck charm. Turkey did well by reaching quarters, could have done better if they had that Demiral guy but it is what it is, still, I thought Montella setup the team too defensively for too long. To beat the Dutch you've got to attack them with a purpose, they are much better attacking and controlling the game than defending, Mario said so himself. Going to be an interesting semi

@@ximengtang6731 i think England will only score 1 goal tops if u look at the whole tournament, and we know how The Netherlands respond to being behind they always come back stronger and the game totaly changes especially when Wout Weghorst comes in he brings a riot to everyone, not to mention the speed and technique they have on the bench with Malen, Frimpong, vd Ven, Zirkzee, Brobbey.

turkish people should buy some glasses: its gakpo who tried to kick the ball: and its muldur who blocked gakpo his foot instead of playing the ball .thats why the shot never came off gakpo his foot..if the ball wouldnt have gone in it would have been a penalty.. its clearly seen on screenshots. Muldur his left foot blocked gakpo his right foot.

Chances of someone winning. Odds are made up from people betting on it. Same as stock market and debt market.

The number on the right hand side is your stake and the number on the left hand side is your potential winnings from that stake. Odds tend to change based on how many bets people are placing on a certain outcome. So if the odds were 10/1 and I bet £1 and won, i'd make my stake back plus an extra £10. If I bet £10, I'd make £100 plus my £10 back. If the number on the right hand side is higher than the one on the left, it's usually not worth betting on as they're seen as the favourite so you'd only make a tiny winnings.

@@marcsugi Turkiye was using their 4th and 5th choice CB. Yuksek their best DM was suspended for the match. Also many other great youngsters are coming up for the Turks like Can Uzun and Semih Kilicsoy. Many people don't realise it, but that Turkish side was half a B team for them.

The Turks will be a force to reckon with the upcoming tournaments they have it in them to reach far heights in future tournaments. Austria and Swiss are coming closer to the level of the top countries. This is what we want in Europe where almost no country is easy to beat. Also a shout out to Slovenia & Slovakia. (i am dutch)

If Turkey had won then I would have said England will definitely be in the final as I think they would beat the Turks. Whereas it’s the Netherlands- who have experience of getting far in major tournaments, the first ‘big team’ that England have had to face. So it could go either way.

@@marcelw6827 I’m not so sure (and Turkey did so well in this tournament, congrats to them) I think Turkey would have made it very difficult for England, even scored a goal, but England would have somehow pushed through that one. A bit like how France have done so far.
Like I said do not be shock if the Dutch sneak there way into the finals

@@alopry11 please Dutch fans have been saying that since the knockout stage.... (But lets be fair. That easy route also counts for the other teams on that bracket. Netherlands is also the easier option compared to France, Germany or Spain)

When people say that the EUROs have been so boring, I don’t blame them especially when own goals are leading the race for the Golden Boot and some of these teams are in the semifinals despite playing awfully. Out of the 4 teams who are in the semifinals: France Spain England and the Netherlands, one of them has genuinely been the most impressive and dominant team in the tournament. There’s been a swagger about the Spain national team as not only have they been accumulating results winning every game in this tournament, they’ve done it with ease and there are moments where they’ve played breathtaking football and don’t rely on having 90% of the ball during games as they have that ability to hurt you in any way, meanwhile the other teams who have made it this far has played boring football and haven’t looked good at all. France are on the brink of their 4th final in the last 5 major tournaments and they still haven’t scored a goal from open play, England under Gareth Southgate have been to the semifinals in 3 of the last 4 tournaments and at the EUROs, they’ve played some boring football as well, apart from 1 game, the Netherlands haven’t always been that great since they finished 3rd in their group and they didn’t play badly against Turkey as they stuck to the task against a disciplined backline, once they found a way and took the lead after being behind initially, they managed the game so well and made some great defensive plays to hold onto the game and make sure that they got the win. As great as Spain has been playing as they’ve been the best team of the tournament, I wouldn’t be shocked if we see either France/England or the Netherlands in the final because as much as we wanna see attractive football, being able to grind results and find ways to win games is the difference between success and failure in a major tournament.
