I wish I had seen this when I built my Mark IV a few years ago as I learned a few techniques watching this episode which I could have incorporated into my paint job. Terrific outcome MM.....loved the result. I might grab another kit at some point and have go with some new tricks :)

Great job MM! The detailing with the oils really bring it to life. Did you you apply a clear coat before applying the oils and other effects? I have tried with and without clear coat, but I am not sure which is preferable to achieve a good result. Looking forward to the next project. Greetings from Australia 🇦🇺!

That's a great question, I did uses the old semi gloss varnish before and after the decals trick. So it's a bit of both. I'm having a lot of success with the dryness of the blending brush. Check out some of rinaldistudio press videos if you haven't already, he really breaks it down. Thanks for watching!

Very nice! I have the Takom Mark I and IV. These guys scream for a diorama base. Your wanting me to jump ship on a current project to start on one of these landships.

Great Build! , I'm going to use some of these techniques on my mark IV, what is the clay paste you brushed onto the tracks after the initial brown green airbrush to make the mud effect?

That's great! It was such a fun build, enjoy. The paste is (terrains light earth) from AK's diorama series #AK8021. Hope that helps.
