My friends, tonight we're taking a paintbrush to this diorama. We'll focus on detail painting, pin washes and some terrain rendering using oils, enamels and acrylics.

I've been modeling for a while, and every time I learn something new - it is what makes this so great. Thank you, again, another beautiful piece.
I'm watching all your videos on autoplay, dude you are one hell of a model builder and painter!!
Unckie Nightshift is back to make the weekend great again
I love this project, it's gonna look like the actual no man's land Also, thank you for uploading videos every week, they are interesting to watch and useful for beginners like me
I love ww1-interwar tanks. They look so gritty and steampunky, full of rivets. They just look so brutal and metal
i always looking forded to watching your videos
I am bulding Models and diorams now since i am ten but this here is a totally diffrent level. This is .... WOW... Absolutely awesome. Thanks for showing us, what is possible.
A masterpiece.
Thank you , Uncle Martin . 🐺
I enjoy watching your artwork .
Can’t wait for the water!
war thunder announces the A-10 and nightshift uploads - this weekend is going to be good...
“Pinwashing playground” is a good way to describe these riveted tanks! I liked seeing some filter work with the oils, and I think that the time that you put into varying the groundwork colors paid off! It looks amazing!
Very nice job on the tank and diorama.
As always, awesome work my friend.
magnific details, love this.
Dude you kill it every time. My favorite content I look forward to every Friday. Thank you.
You make such good models. I've been building models for 3 years and your techniques are very helpful on making a nice model.
I have to say, I think this will be the most interesting and beautiful diorama’s you have created yet. Despite it being in “no man’s land.” 😄
Superb, inspired and superb...👍👍👍👌
Fascinating job Martin! This is my most intresting era combined with the KZreadr I look most up to! Great job!
I love the technic of spongie thingie😅. I often use it for my tanks)
that looks super crispy dude, A+
Came out great. I think a thin layer of epoxy or AK Puddle Effect around the tank would make a great water effect!
Fantastic Martin!
You're my Inspiration!
Great diorama, my great grandfather was on the Somme September 1916 when he first saw the tanks go into battle. Even he said he'd rather take his chances as a soldier than be in one of those things.
Damn Martin that is looking so good brother!!!❤❤👍😉
It's coming along very nicely. I pick up tips from you all the time. Even as ancient as I am.
Im off to do some Crispy Rendering.....awesome as usual Martin!!!
Thank you for the regular videos! They're very educational, inspirational, and your work feels honest and joyful. I haven't built a model in 20 years but every time I watch your videos, I get the itch again. 😁
I could literally watch you pinwash rivets for hours.
Enjoy it? Oh yeah, I enjoyed it! Great work! 👍
Next diorama idea: A tractor pulling a tank.

Awesome as always! Thanks for inspiring me to try new techniques! Your video's have expanded my ability to get more advanced with my modeling, much appreciated! Keep em coming Martin!💖👍
Excellent technical work!!
I think this will be my favorite dio you have made so far
Try mixing some peat moss in with your ground medium, it works real well adding rough ground effects!
Brilliant work !
So excited for this model, it’s the first one I’m watching from start to finish. Subscribed!
Stunning amount of detail. This is going to be another masterpiece. You were talking about how you're going to be tackling the water as part of the next video. Something I've seen in machines abandoned in mud & water, but have never seen in model making id the rainbow oil sheen on the water surface from where petrol/gasoline has leaked into it. Have you ever done such a thing? It would be really interesting to see how you'd achieve that.
You're an inspiration for us Mr. Night Shift.
I really liked this video again. What is possible with oil paints amazes me again and again. I now like to use them myself. Thank you and greetings - Tino
Hey, Uncle Night Shift, they make "criss-cross" tweezers that hold themselves closed, so you just squeeze them to open.
Nice!
I just like hearing all of the commentary. Plus his sort of soothing voice (no homo btw)
Another great video keep up the good work!
Perfect 👍
Excellent technical work
My whole week was spent waiting for this
Wow, love this series, great storytelling and great explanation of how you are making it!
Detailing is exelent
I swear, I see you improve in every video!
All your work is amazing but so far this is my favourite.. I can't wait to see it finished.
Looking good .
Wow toto je krása super video 👌
I love the weathering 🙂
Really enjoy your new technique, thanks for your time.
It was great to see your more efficient chipping method. Thank you!!
You are a master of the art. Utterly fantastic work!!
really liking this series. Good work.
Fairly certain British tanks in WW1 were painted with a similar Olive Drab to their WW2 and even modern tank. It is only slightly more green than brown, but under certain lighting it can look brown
Loving the ww1 diorama uncle night shift
Excellent as always.
Looks amazing, I love it! I can’t wait to see this dio finished. Could you build a Strv 103 or T-34 sometime? It would be really cool and awesome Love your work, support from sweden :)

@@chieftainmk_11 yes, I’m referring to the Soviet one. An easy way to tell them apart is the Soviet one has a line ( - ), and the American doesn’t. He has technically already built one, but before his channel existed :)
Looks amazing already👍
Awesome progress!!! And look at that! Nice new custom sponge chipping tool. The makers of the star shaped green binder clips are going to wonder why they are all sold out all of a sudden 🤣
Awesome, as always. This one is really coming together nicely. I don't think I have the patience to detail the diorama the way you have done. Hope you're staying safe!
I started building models 40 years ago,and never thought of oils until I watched these videos,I feel dumb :D
Another nice job. Coming along great. Looking forward to the next video
hell yeah intros are back, saw a video where you said you wernt doing it anymore because you thought it was tacky, i think it has charm
Learning a lot from your vids. Hopefully i can try to apply your teachings on gundam models. Thanks for providing great content!
I've gotta try chiping like this! So easy compared to using chipping medium and brushes
Hi Martin, the diorama is looking absolutely fantatic, I look forward to the next update, take care and keep safe and well, greetings from Australia.
Very nice, looks epic.
I always love these videos
As always, absolutely amazing work. Very inspirational. Thank you Uncle. ;)
Looking very dank and dreary, just what you were aiming for. The absence of sharp false shadows and relatively even coloring on top surfaces and sides implies overcast weather. Makes me want to pull up the collar of my heavy overcoat just looking at it. I have a small suggestion- IIRC WWI tanks wouldn't have lived long enough, specifically wouldn't have spent long enough with engines running, to bake all the paint off their mufflers and exhausts. Hence the many-colored rust approach will work, just not the whole exhaust system. But then as you've said realism has to be balanced with artistic expression.
Looks great Martin! This may be your best work yet!
This is an absolute masterpiece my friend!
Very good work - such a great idea for a diorama!
Nice work. As always
Getting excited to see how you go with the resin;)
relly love the look of it
Hi you making diorama literally makes me wanna build a diorama, great job and look!
Genius!
I'm really enjoying this project Martin, great work. Cheers from the U.K.
been waiting for this and it looks so good!
Loving seeing this develop! Would be great I think, to add some smoke / fire damage above / around the shell holes, vision slits and hatches like it's had an internal fire after getting stuck. Just an idea, as currently the damage looks quite "mechanical" and not like it's had any effect?
Perfect done! And I'm also a fan of idea of making tractor towing Russian tank, TOR, or something similar. ;) All the best for You! ;)
Hello, great video! It's always a pleasure to check in with you. Greetings condock24
you should do a tour of all your dioramas
Nice job
So, considering the chipping method: are you now a ”sponge-jedi”?
Super praca!
😱😱😱😱😱‼️‼️ God Bless 👍👍.
My man should make a panzer VIII maus model it would be epic
Should do an FT-17 or an A7B in a winter scene. Don’t see a lot of WW1 in winter
Unc Dude this is epic! TFS, GB :)
very nice model :)
