Full Live Stream - The Clean Up | Individual Event 9 - 2023 Rogue Invitational

Спорт

Complete coverage of CrossFit Event 9, "The Cleanup," from the 2023 Rogue Invitational in Round Rock, Texas (Sunday, October 29). This includes the Women's division at 2:00 and the Men's division at 43:00.
Moved indoors due to the weather, The Cleanup nonetheless offering up a storybook ending as the final workout of the 2023 Rogue Invitational. Arguably the most anticipated part of this year's competition was the return of the friendly rivalry between 3x Invitational champ Tia Toomey-Orr and 2022 champ Laura Horvath. To say that match-up didn't disappoint would be an understatement, as the two phenomenal athletes entered Event 9 in a dead heat, tied at 680 points overall atop the leaderboard. It would come down to a battle of double-ups and cleans, an endurance test after a long weekend, to determine a winner. Meanwhile, while Pat Vellner seemed to have his first Invitational title in hand, reigning "Fittest Man on Earth" Jeff Adler was ready to make one last run at his fellow Canadian.

Thank you Rogue for doing what CrossFit fails to do: deliver a good competition with fun, but not absurd, workouts, and good coverage that made the competition easy to watch and consume. I've always said the CF games are the most poorly organized and executed sporting event, but I'm glad we can count on Rogue to put in the effort

It’s blowing my mind Tia accomplished this at just 6 months postpartum. Anyone who’s had a baby knows how incredible this is. Can’t wait to see her at the 2024 games!

I absolutely love these women, they are SUCH an inspiration. And my mind is blown by what Tia accomplished having carried a baby for 9 whole months and then only being 6 months postpartum. To be able to compete at this caliber and place where she did after her training took a back seat to growing a whole human and recovering from birth and all the rigors of new motherhood is just insane. Hats off!

When were the Rogue Record Breakers held and will they be uploaded? I thought that was usually a Sunday event for the strongmen? No individual video was uploaded, nor did I see it in any of the full day livestreams from Friday, Saturday or Sunday.

Annie competed in the postpartum Games and no one questioned her podium. The crown must be passed! Tia is a great competitor, but room must be made for others! Laura was better conditioned, yes! She worked hard to win and after all, everyone there wants to win. People keep saying things where there is no rivalry. Peace and good! See you at the next Rogue Invitational and Crossfit Games 2024!

Question: why do you commenters feel you have to literally give away what’s happened in your comments? It’s like telling everyone what’s happened in a film before someone has watched it. Get some friends, discuss it with them. We don’t want to know before we have watched it. Some of us have a life and cant watch it immediately 🤯
