FULL: Judge threatens more sanctions against former Indiana sheriff Jamey Noel

Indiana Judge Larry Medlock warned former Clark County Sheriff Jamey Noel there would be further sanctions against him if any additional firearms are found on his properties.

However, you insinuate/imply that this is the general condition of ALL law enforcement and judicial personnel, and I do not believe that to be true. It is fine to state your opinion, but state that it is your opinion and not necessarily a 'fact'. @simonegacia4429 stated, there are "bad actors" in every profession, eye color, gender, nationality, and political persuasion. It isn't fair to generalize.

Why should this garbage ex sheriff get released so that he can spend more time with his attorney to discuss things or to read discovery. Citizens don’t get released so they can go talk to their attorneys. Every day citizens will sit and rot in jail, asking for their attorney to come, and the jail makes it as difficult as possible to see an attorney. If you have a public defender, they won’t even come and talk to you until the day of a hearing and then they’ll give you five minutes.

I find it humorous that the defendant's lawyer asked the judge to reconsider his clients previous sanctions, when more weapons were discovered by the prosecution and defense investigator in this search. Both parties agreed to a search of all properties for additional weapons turned up several more, and the defense claiming a service weapon, is actually NOT a service weapon. The judge saw right through it, and leaned into his ruling, wishing it had been more. Also, the defense wishes his client was available to assist in his case, but he is available to them any time they want, just go down to the jail where he is housed and see your client.

This former sheriff criminal is a perfect example of the danger that the public finds itself in when dealing with law enforcement officers. There is no intention here to paint all officers with the "corrupt" brush however, the problem for the public is that we never know if the officers we may encounter are corrupt or not. There are just too many unfit officers wearing a badge who seem to be able to understand that they serve & protect. They do not rule. Too often it is the public who need protection from LE. A recent case in point is the shooting of an Air Force member by a local deputy who went to the wrong apartment & within seconds opened up on the tenant who opened the with his weapon pointed down. The weapon the airman had was his lawfully issued & lawfully possessed service carbine. The reason he answered the door with weapon in hand {which let us not forget is %100 legal} was because of the disturbance the officer made outside an apartment in which no incident had occurred . This is one of thousands of innocent citizens who have lost there life to overzealous, bully types who seem to believe a badge places them above the very law they are to uphold. There are lots of good, honest, competent officers out there. Probably more good than bad. But there are just too many bad ones left in place to ruin it for the good cops as well as for we citizens. I would not continue to purchase from a company that perform well enough to put out a product with %30 defective products. Why should we accept that performance from our law enforcement. It is clear they can't police themselves.

I hope Tiffany Henyard and her chief of police will be subjected to exactly the same thorough investigation. It is just unconscionable that people are living paycheck to paycheck while these officials are using the people's money as their personal piggy bank.

This guy is a total disgrace to the badge, I hope he gets life in prison for the millions of dollars he stole from tax payers. His wife and daughter used public funds to live a lavish lifestyle as well, and both are heading to prison as well once everything is said and done. These people used tax payer money as their personal piggy bank.
