The Judge will most likely give him a short jail sentence for about 6 months, which will be on hold whilst he files his appeal. However, IF Trump keeps spouting off and breaching the gag order, he might find the Judge less likely to award him bail pending appeal....and Donny would then have to file his appeal FROM PRISON!

Somewhere I heard that the aggregate max for class E felonies is 20 years. That is 5x the max for a single count. Four years seems skimpy, eight seems about right if there is a rational way to divide the bad acts into two groups.

The funny thing is, Trump's lawyers have probably told him he can't go directly to SCOTUS. It would be a 10th amendment violation. His appeals will have to wind their way through NY first. Which will take years. Even after, unless there's a constitutional or procedural issue, it's not the within the jurisdiction of the Supreme Court

The public would be fine with him in jail.
The American people need to demand that the Roberts Court stop protecting Trump from prosecution in court cases, and stop slow walking the immunity claim decision. That is obstruction of Justice for all to see.

The problem I have with reminding people of Trump's inability to lead is that we are prohibited from discussing politics in the workspace, and they are ghosting any related text I send them. Essentially, here in Texas, I'm dealing with a bunch of ostriches, who are content with keeping their heads in the sand, and there's little I can do. I place articles on my desk, including "The January 6 Report" book, but it has done little good. While I know I'm not the only one having to deal with this concern, it is nonetheless frustrating.
