Seems like a great kid? He’s completely lost in the world. It seems highly probable that he brandished a gun when he confronted a 17 year old last year. And it’s also likely that he used a red dot sight to intimidate the Pacers players. He’s been insincere and unaccountable throughout this latest debacle and the only thing he seems sure of is his own greatness. Very far from a “great kid”. He should be held to the same standards as others and by that measure, he seems like quite the 💩head.

Jalen Rose should never do another interview. He was showing remorse talking to a guy who does not care. This video didn’t age well.
You're a superstar bud. I think you might be the next face of the NBA. Keep you're head up and think before you act. 23 is so young. I was a mess at 23
If he would've initially said, "hey I messed up, it didn't really hit me until I saw the aftermath. Speaking with family, teammates, vets, everyone that is important in my life made me realize that I have some maturing to do. I'm blessed to be in a rare position to be one of the faces in this league and can really make an impact in people's lives. I vow to make an effort to work on myself and how I want to be portrayed." Or something to this affect, it would've been received better. Stress is real and it does affect people, but there's levels to it. Paul George was going through stress and it was believable bc we all witnessed it from the beginning

@@matthewlee4697 right, he’s only 23, so his people or the Grizzlies should have had someone come out and coach him. You can tell Jalen is purposely lobbing him softballs. I’m sure Jalen let him know what the questions would be before the interview. Someone should’ve practiced answering the questions until he could respond coherently and completely. Many times he gave non-answers that were off topic. Wait, are people really buying this? I know he knows he messed up, I believe that, but this feels so hilariously rushed it feels like an album rollout. Expect me to believe this internal transformation occurred in a little over a week of talking with therapists? Stuff that takes months and months and in a lot of times years to process, analyze, practice, and repeat. This feels embarrassingly rushed for PR reasons for the NBA to protect one of it's future faces. The whole interview feels painfully inauthentic and coached to the point I don't even think Ja believes what he's saying... he just know what he's saying is "right". There's a difference.
