tools of offense. Edit : to all saying gun is not an offensive weapon but a defensive tool, think seriously. A pad lock, a bullet proof jacket, a shield, a helmet are defensive tools. Ahhhh Shaq. I'm from San Antonio and we don't have a ton of celebrities from around here but growing up I definitely knew who David Robinson was. I can't help but think that one way or another I tried to model my behavior after his. He was a strong and very gentle person and while there is no way I can be as strong as him, I try to be as gentle. Shaq made an awesome and very obvious point at the end, children look up to these men whether they want to believe that or not. I'm glad to hear Shaq looked up to David Robinson. Ja should face a harsh consequences but that doesn't mean he is beyond redemption. People want him back out there and they want to see him get back on the right path. I hope he gets it together and in a couple years we are talking about the comeback story that is Ja Morant's.
I make 60k a year and when I signed that contract, there is wording that states even when I'm not working I'm actively representing the company so anything and everything I say or post online reflects on the company at all times. I'm a nobody and I still have to conduct myself in a respectful manner at all times. It's amplified for Ja because he is a commonly known name at this point. He is someone who will always be representing his company regardless of if the season is ongoing or not. You're free to do whatever you want to do but understand that those choices can and will result in loss of employment. That's just how it goes. It's not about him pulling the gun and waving it. It's the fact that he was told that he can't do things like that because he represents not just the NBA but Nike and his other sponsors and he did it again anyway. There are consequences for that bro.

Lol I seen JJ this morning saying his piece. Which he made some good points. However Kenny,Shaq and Charles wisdom overshadows JJ's earlier statements by a mile. 😅
What Shaq said at the end 9:14 was legendary. Love to see it.
Chuck, you're absolutely spot on man. And let me tell you man, if I was in attendance if this was said at some kind of event, I'd give Chuck a standing ovation for that, and I never do that. But that's how powerful and spot on he is here. Always love him man. Chuck is so freaking awesome man.
Kenny finally said what I've been thinking from the very beginning. IT'S NOT HIS FRIENDS, IT'S HIM!
Ja morant went from being one of my favorite players because of his play style to making me wanna roll my eyes every single time I see him on tv or commercials or anything

This is the most serious I’ve seen Kenny be, he really eloquently pointed out some important stuff, especially about how maybe it’s not your friends, but you yourself that’s the issue. Self analysis and awareness is crucial

I love these guys ❤ Shaq Chuck and Kenny always have a good perspective. Great role models honestly although I know some don't see Barkley that way for whatever reason. Ernie's cool too. Collectively they are my favorite panel of TV people to listen to regardless if they're making jokes and cracking on people or if they're talking about serious current events and important social issues
Barkley has always had my utmost respect. He keeps it real, he dont pull no punches. He calls it like he sees it, nothing but the truth!!!
I am so happy Charles Barkley address the Working Class People. Moms and dads , working so hard to put food on a table an they dont make 100,000 a year. Thank you Charles Barkley🙏🙏🙏🙏

The straight forward analysis of Chuck is really on point. One can only dream of having an awesome opportunity not just to play in the NBA, but to also to earn more than a decent job that really pays. And for someone like Ja who already made it and just to simply waste every given opportunity because of his diluted attitude. I think it would be best to give that special opportunity to someone who is more than willing to value it.

Barkley is the voice of reason as always.
I think the main point from Kenny is when you do things like that on camera, you are inviting elements into your life that you may not be prepared for. This is CRITICAL! There are people that look for confrontation, and will love to make a name off of your demise. When someone like Ja has so much to lose, his number 1 priority should be to keep those people away from him... That should be his friend's and family's number 1 priority as well.
@maritimezhang

That’s correct. His life is too good to be doing dumb stuff. Just like I would never put myself in a confrontational situation because I’m living well and happy. Why would I or anyone that’s enjoying their life out themself in those situations.
