He’s not responsible for their success. Look at their record without him. They blew out the champions in the playoffs without him. He’s still a boarder line superstar, but the grizzlies did it as a team.

@@stinkosm Well to start the Grizzlies have been within the top 10 team in the league for years. Long before Ja joined the squad, but fast forward to today. You sound like a real hater, anyone who knows basketball can see that no other team gave the warriors as much of a challenge as the grizzlies. To say we haven't had a good playoff run is BS. Im no a warriors fan but I will never short them on they talents and what they do well. Get that hate out your blood my guy.

Warriors fan here. Memphis was the toughest opponent that the Warriors faced in the playoffs. Could have easily gone the other way. Memphis is not only young and fast, but they play great perimeter defense. I was at Game 4 and their defense stifled the Warriors for 3 quarters. If they made their free throws, they would have won that game.

I feel like everybody is going crazy about what he said about Jordan an I get it tbh, but I think he didnt mean it in no disrespectful way. He just said that because in his opinion why say that somebody is better than you if you want to become the best player in the world and he said like 10 sec before that clip that he would want to thank MJ for everything so he didnt want to disrespect him in no way he just wants to keep his mentality of chasing the goal of beeing the best player to ever play the game of basketball. but thats just how i feel about it

Well ..always delivered? His first round performance was pretty trash overall outside of the game winning layup and huge dunk and 4th qtr that game. He shot BELoW 39 percent for the series, heck in gMae 6? 4-14 and 0-5 from 3 with 5 TOs. How many games was Pat Bev getting by him at will? As well as all of the other wolves who got him switched onto them. Inhonelsty was blown away he didn’t get more crap for how bad he was playing most of the series, but then I remembered he is $$$$ for the league so it makes sense. But ya. If the wolves weren’t so stupid they would have won that series easily. And if I remember correctly, it was Tyus Jones and Bane who came up huge in a pot of the grizzlies wins. That being said, he did play great I felt Vs the warriors, on offesne. But again, they were down 1-2 when he goes out. Then while they go another 1-2 without him, they did secure what? 30 point win without him? Idk. He seems like he’s getting way overrated even tho he was one of my favorites as a rookie

How can you hate on ja morant, Dude was an underdog in college and exceeded expectations as a 2nd overall pick. The grizzlies were falling off once they lost Gasol and Conley. Know the franchise is still in a winning position.

There were 0 incidents of Jordan Poole doing anything close to him doing anything to his knee. It's good that morant owned up that Jordan did nothing and that he was just frustrated and that his mind was all over the place. But he should be more direct saying Jordan did nothing close to any injury attempt.

I don’t watch basketball but my parents watch it somewhat so when the finals were on a watched a little bit of it and I gotta say. Ja was the most impressive player I have seen in a sports game. I don’t watch sports other than UFC so when people hype a player up like Lebron or Messi or Ronaldo I’m never impressed with the performance I see when just watching them for 1 game randomly. But for Ja in the finals I was literally like “holy shit” this guy is literally making every single basket he puts up. It was actually shocking. I wasn’t a fan of the dances and stuff but his performance amazed me.

Ja Morant has a wonderful and passionate personality so him saying that he would cook Michael Jordan does not surprise and there's no disrespect in that as he said it would nice to play in the era that Jordan played in so it really has nothing offensive to me some people might think it's offensive and so disrespectful but it's just confidence and passion.
