Full Grimoire Flip Through

Ойын-сауық

I have finished my grimoire, and am excited to bring you this full flip through!
As mentioned in the video, some of the ephemera in this book was created by ‪@HerSpeak‬ an incredible artist who inspires a lot of my art witchery.

I use acrylic in my journal, and how I keep it from sticking is to make sure I let it stay open all night to dry completely. This keeps my pages from sticking. Even after some time and tons of pressure from other pages getting real thick.

This is AMAZING Corregan! I totally agree that magical books don't have to be perfect... the day I got over my page fright and gave myself permission to play and get messy was the day the magic started happening. I always say one imperfectly finished project is worth two perfect unfinished projects in the bush, and you finished this! Go you! You should be so proud. It's so gorgeous and colourful, it covers all the basics and contains spells and recipes that have obviously served you well over the years and that you use often. I'm seriously inspired 🙌🥰 I can attest to the fact that acrylic paints can often stick. I use Jo Sonja matte acrylics and they stick very little, but I have used crafters acrylics that stick like nobody's business. I know you can get matte sprays and the like that stop journal pages from sticking but I haven't researched enough to get that far. Blessings dear! 🕯📖✨💕

Oh my goodness yes, getting over the fear is when the magic happens!!! I look forward to seeing more of your wonderful art magic my dear!!! Acrylics are tricky. My matte acrylics are pretty good, as are the acrylic gouache which is fairly matte too. I have used matte spray, Krylon brand is the best I have found, but those sprays are like $30-40 bucks here in Australia, so I don’t think they’re the best solution for us. But if you are interested, spotlight is actually the cheapest place to buy it!

this is absolutely lovely! you are so talented. I love your Grimoire and you are so right it is your book and you can do with it what you want and I love the idea of adding things from books I have read, fiction or non fiction. You are so lovely - I really enjoyed this and although they are really hard to find here in the UK I have ordered the first book Dragonclaw by Kate Forsyth ! I physically love to have a book so I didn't want the kindle option so I have asked my daughter in Australia to search them out if she can and bring them over when she comes in a few weeks. xxx

Ohh thank you so much my dear friend!!! Fiction books are a wonderful source of magic for me, and I see no reason not to tap into that! I’m sooo excited for you that you’ve ordered Dragonclaw!!! I don’t know how hard they are to get here in Australia these days (they’re pretty old!) The audiobooks are also available if that’s your jam (I love audiobooks, they’re a mainstay for my reading these days). I would love to hear what you think of the Witches of Eileanan series… it’s so close to my heart!!!!

Your book is beautiful… I use acrylic paint in my book and have found that once the paint is dry, if you brush over a very thin layer or cornstarch or baby powder it helps to stop it sticking, might be worth trying on any pages you have that are particularly bad for it

The Craft is definitely a classic, but I will take from anything I feel is magical, or could be!!! Things we love make for powerful magic, right?

Hiya It’s correct if you live in the Southern Hemisphere. Our seasons are opposite those of the northern hemisphere, so our wheel of the year is too. When it’s Samhain in North America for example, it’s Beltane in Australia where I live.
