I find as I get older, the more like a Hobbit I get (though with a touch of Beorn in there, too, and Radagast since I prefer the company of animals to people...) There are some good books there. Seawhite do some nice sketchbooks and they also do accordion books - I have one which I've been working on for over a year now for animals that are important in Norse Myth - I might do one for Nehalennia after seeing this as I have a lot of old gouache paint to get through. As usual, these books are very beautiful. Edit: For making books: Treasure Books show you how to make Junk Journals. There are a lot of Book of Shadows/Grimoire channels that show you how to make them, and there are some more professional bookbinding channels, too, but the style that Treasure Books show are the easiest that I've come across.

Regarding the Moon card (I'm not much into Tarot, though I have collected some themed decks), it's amazing how prejudices can cloud 'official' interpretations of cards, runes, astrological symbols, etc. I often find the same with dream interpretation and ink blot tests. Many years ago, my partner was receiving counseling for depression and he mentioned once to the psychiatrist that we were had been/or were going to a bat natural history survey evening where the biologist was using a bat detector and to catch and ID moths since the bat species that live in the UK eat them... The psychiatrist's response was silly to say the least.
Absolutely!!!! Our own and others prejudice or unconscious bias colour everything we experience. And everyone’s experience is unique. When it comes to tarot, I believe it’s a lot like art. The user’s interpretation is what matters ☺️ the “official” meaning of cards is important to know, (imho) but where you go from there is up to you!

Do the leaves on the trees in the southern hemisphere turn orange and red before they fall for the winter? Or is that just a northern thing? I'm assuming we don't have the same trees
That’s a great question!!! And the answer is twofold! The native trees mostly don’t even shed their leaves at all, most of them are evergreen. But we do have a lot of the same trees, as colonisers brought their fauna with them, so we have lots of deciduous trees that shed their leaves, and yes they turn yellow or red or brown just the same!

Heyy! I m trynna make my own book of shadows.. but first i want the type of wrinkly old paper with brown spots in it .. to make it look ancient. It gives a great mood..cause im an old soul and the ancient things really gimme peace. So do tell me how can i make those old looking wrinkly brown papers?

I came back today to finish the flip through. I would love to see your garden Corregan. It must be wonderful, and your apothecary cabinets must be really interesting. I think you have well and truly achieved your goal of creating a Herbal that feels old and well used. Just love it. You really need to be able to pass this on and others you have made. They're too lovely to be lost. I make witchy journals and I would love to show you some of the pages from them but at this stage I don't have a KZread channel just a Facebook page. Not usually, no. Occasionally I will if the paper is very thin, or sometimes if the paper is shiny.
