This is one of THE best offerings from Timex I've seen in recent times. I can't help but think its actually the Collaboration we have to thank for it tho. If Timex would regularly produce quality offerings like this on their own, they'll certainly give Micro Brands a serious run for their money

2:30 a caller GMT and a traveler GMT are two different things. With a caller GMT you independently set the 24-hour hand without changing local time. The traveler GMT (sometimes called a true GMT) lets you independently set the 12-hour hand because local time when you travel. The 9075 is a traveler GMT.

USD 750 for an automatic true GMT with Titanium case and bracelet is a bomb. 1000 pcs limited edition surely sole out in a very short time.

Usually I think Timex are overpriced and Citizen are better alternative, but considering what you get and that for sure this watch will be well constructed, it´s the best priced Timex I know. And looks great

You make a valid point. When criticizing a watch for giving the masses what they asked for, one has to know that price is a factor.

Im excited to receive mine. A true GMT in titanium on a well known brand. I’ll give it a try.

I do like it a lot. I probably won't buy it as I'm not in the market for something like this, but I'm very impressed. Pricing is high for a Timex, but not so much for what you get.

Simple. Functional. I wasn't sure at first but Timex really nailed it with this one. You mentioned some things that i wish i had covered in my video review of this watch. Still getting used to the whole review thing. I had no clue matching titanium bracelets were so uncommon!

This is actually pretty nice and I think a fair value for what you get. I think the EDC box set with matching pen and knife is pretty cool. I would get one if I were in the market for something like this. I only wish it had a bidirectional bezel and I think the bracelet could use a taper as well as folding clasp with tool free micro-adjust.

That's a great looking watch and the price is reasonable in comparison to what's offered spec wise!

Love Timex because of watches like this. Although it is a little too big for my tastes, you’re getting a TON of value with a watch like this

Its a great looking watch, with great specs, true gmt, grade 5 ti, 200m wr. A winner, oh and the price, its fair. If my cash wasn't already spoken for, yes I'd have it.

It's a great offering - very impressive specs and movement for a timex - at this price point, though the clasp is a killer for me. Needs a deployant clasp with OTF adjustment to make it compelling. Perhaps there will be a comparable "unlimited" model to follow?

I bought it despite its 4 flaws: Aluminum bezel (matte ceramic would’ve been great), unidirectional bezel, no micro-adjustments in the bracelet/clasp and unregulated Miyota 9075. The last one is surprising, as microbrands using the 9075 have been known to regulate it close to COSC, instead of just dropping it unregulated into the case, and this being a limited 1000 piece edition would’ve made regulation manageable.

Thank you for this review. The TIMEX x TJB watch is aesthetically pleasing. It has the same movement as the Jack Mason Strat-o-timer GMT. And it would be interesting to see you do a comparison of those two watches.

No doubt this is a great offering, but at $749 it’s caught a lot of Timex regulars by surprise too. For a limited edition collab, these are typically gone by now but the price is slowing the sales. I have no reason to believe it won’t sell out but it’s gonna take some time.

I think it’s a really cool release! Love it, and great value for the price. Timex do seem to be moving upmarket, but who isn’t nowadays? 😂

Definitely moving upmarket in the last 12 months or so. Let's hope they don't move too far out of range price wise.

I own 11 Titanium watches. The last two I purchased were both in grade 5 Titanium. In the microbrand world, grade 5 Titanium is becoming more common and the price has dropped considerably. Titanium is my favorite watch material so I am always happy when I see more brands using it. I think $750 for a Titanium GMT is a fair price but you can find non GMT watches in grade 5 Titanium for much less.

I wish they would make a serious diver , like the tiburon but in 40mm , 300m depth, sapphire, ceramic bezel, no date

On a quick search I couldn't find many grade 5 titanium gmt watches. I found Oak and Oscar Humboldt GMT grade 5 but no bracelet for $2250 (sold out). You could get a fortitude gmt from Rze which is hardness coated but not grade 5 for $649. Yeah an interesting package, not for me I don't care about GMT

I feel this is a good watch. A great watch for the price.

Titanium, with bracelet and strap, true GMT and sapphire for $750 is too much??? Most Swiss brands would sell that for 3x as much on the useless base or “heritage”, which, might I remind you, Timex has in boatloads

A sweet looking watch. $750 is a lot of cake for a Timex, but may change a few minds in time.

Second collab watch worth the investment from Timex. The Expedition North Ti was a great first release and this is the second. I am tired of Timex only offering a special package and a fancy new pressed dial and calling it special releases. I will be patiently waiting on this watch on the second hand market.

Wearing #989 for the last six days and loving it. Running +5 seconds/day which isn't too bad.

Butterfly clasp with no half links. Timex just couldn’t help but mess this up.

Why these watch companies still using non micro adjustment bracelets.........it is idiotic

Clasp kills it for me. I will no longer buy watches I can’t adjust to the proper fit.

For that price i ptefer to buy a berny with the same movement to much for a miyota.

I really don't think it'll do well in a European market.

The shape is unappealing (too rectangular looking), the movement is less than ideal, and I don't think the bracelet looks very good either. Otherwise, seems pretty nice. That's a lot of watch for $750 or whatever it is.

$750. GMT. Titanium. Bracelet with solid end links. I cannot believe this is from Timex. I am struggling with not just ordering this right now.

now that i know Timex has plastic internationals, Timex is out.

But at the end of the day it still says Timex on the dial.

This watch is so close to being perfect it’s frustrating: 1. pins instead of screws 2. butterfly clasp instead of a normal clasp with quick adjust 3. Since there is a 24 hour marking on the rehaut for second time zone, the bezel could actually be a more useful dive bezel

It's a good looking watch, but at around £600 in the UK I'm trying to understand who this is aimed at, and making it a GMT may limit its audience further. This one isn't for me, but I'd love to see another premium Timex if it was made in the USA.

Its ugly first and foremost, just looks cheap. Timex is budget brand, and who really knows what/who James Brand is?
