If it was a Seiko, you'd be able to buy it. This watch will never get bought or seen in enough numbers to make a difference. Timex shot themselves in both feet.

$2700 for a seiko if it had these specs. My james brand x Timex is getting quite the wrist time right now. I am loving this watch. And bonus, my name is on it. . .

@@nikkolomakaveli8295 yessir Vegas local raised here. Appreciating the finer watches in life. yah this watch ticks a lot of boxes. I did order a Jack Mason strat in emperor anyways. I feel kind of gross about it after experiencing this watch but we shall see. I have heard great things about that watch too.

Thanks for the review. I received mine a few days ago and am mostly happy with it. I'd like to see a micro-adjust on the bracelet, but got lucky that I found a perfect fit after removing some links. One thing that drives me crazy is that the James Brand "O" at the 24 marker on the bezel is the tiniest bit off and to the left. All the numbers line up perfectly, but it's crazy to me that they flubbed this on my watch. Curious if yours looks off too. I'm going to reach out to Timex and James Brand, but doubt I'll hear anything back.

I am so thankful that Timex does not taper their bracelets and straps on many of their watches. I so enjoy wearing a bracelet that is the same width all round as this almost always prevents the head of the watch to relocate itself close to and under the wrist. Aesthetically the watch and bracelet also look and wear more masculine. I like this Timex model but no Indigo which is a brilliant feature unique to them.

This is a nice watch. I would opt for solid caseback with a design, for the same money but I don't look at the back much.

Looks sharp! This is a breakthrough for Timex. As great as the specs are for a Timex…..it’s still a Timex…..so I wonder if enthusiasts are willing to part with the cash for a brand they consider to be more budget-friendly?

Hopefully they add it to their roster after the 1000 limited editions are sold.

I agree, a big fan of Timex and this one is GORGEOUS. My Timex watch, non-hacking, is immensely accurate, within 3 seconds per day. This one has the added bonus of being a Traveller. Grade 5 titanium is excellent as it is much tougher than grade 3. Compare this to the TAG F1 collaboration… no contest, in my opinion. Thanks for the review.

They should have just did a normal divers bezel most normal people aren’t using a gmt. At least you can time tasks with a divers bezel

Timex is upping their game. It's a good looking watch. The purists are gonna have a conniption when they see this. They're going to be throwing a lot of shade at Timex.

Seiko would sell this for around the same as Timex is offering, except you would get a Hardlex crystal and much better lume.

No way. You wouldn't get a 28800bph movement for a start, and no sapphire, and no titanium if it was Seiko. My titanium Seiko was over$1000, without lume, without GMT, and only an ordinary 6R movement. It is finished better than this Timex though, but a lot dearer.

It would the best if the add the day of week too. I miss it a lot.

A non limited edition version of this (even in stainless steel) would be the Seiko Killer you speak of.

I’m not happy about the integrated watch bands on a Timex titanium chronograph I bought it used for a deal and then found out that it was not possible to get any links or any other options to size the watch to fit me but the vintage Timex I have in my collection have extremely small straps but there is an option to make it fit just a price to pay

If you're gonna do a unidirectional bezel, might as well make it a dive bezel. Still have 24hrs on the rehaut.

How are people comparing this with 2-3k Seiko? Seiko already released an entry level GMT for around 500. Seiko doesn't do much in Titanium so a better comparison would be Citizen and you can probably get a Citizen for around this price all day.

Hey chris, citizen don't make a Grade 5 titanium watch. The watches that they do make in super titanium which is grade 2 cost around $1,500

Non tapering runner strap and unidirectional bezel really aims this well with the 200 m at divers. Not sure about doubling the 60 minutes markers truly.

Yep, I'm with the Consensus about $3K USD.

I believe that Seiko's traveler's GMT watch in titanium would likely be priced between $2,800 and $3,000. This is significantly higher than a similar model offered by Citizen in the same price range. Seiko might need to reconsider their pricing strategy to remain competitive. Realistically, I could see Seiko adjusting their price to fall between $1,200 and $1,700.

Too big, round and chunky for my personal tastes, but there is a lot to like about this watch. Timex is one of my favorite brands, and I love to see them evolving in recent times. Also, I’d have to respectfully disagree about the 9 series miyota being prettier than the 6r from Seiko. Let’s just call that a push, because neither are anything that great to look at lol.

Yes nice piece. The finishing lets it down though. The hour hand showed bad finishing on the sides, and no polishing on the case/bracelet. Taking the easy way out.

I like the watch, but could do without the butterfly clasp on the bracelet. Butterfly clasps on a tool watch make no sense to me.

I'd love to see a higher quality Timex diver, but I'm no fan of GMT watches at at nearly £600 this is an expensive gimmick.

The Miyota 9075 is a great movement. 28800bph, good accuracy, robust. My 9015 has settled down to COSC accuracy.

Seiko and Timex are on different market segments. A comparison between the two is a highly illogical stance. San Martin would be an apt comparison but they’re in a much higher quality and finish bracket than Timex.

Most affordable Passenger GMT yet…

It's a good looking watch. However, Timex disappeared for so long that they can't be compared to Seiko, who stuck around for the long haul. A more honest competitor to Timex nowadays might be San Martin. So then there's the price. With Timex, I smell private equity price gouging, but of course I may be wrong. Please prove me wrong.

Nice watch. The caption is laughable though. Seiko is so much better than the current iteration of Timex. It’s not even debatable. Maybe just enjoy what Timex is doing and leave the clickbait out of it.

A unidirectional bezel on a GMT makes no sense. Plus they shamelessly stole the bracelet design from Sinn.

Since the chapter ring has 24hr scale, a rotating bezel means that this watch can track 3 time zones concurrently, would be useful for me :-)
