Higher up clowns love to take advantage of their position, not just in policing but every single job out there. That's why being your own boss, is the best thing that could happen. You answer to nobody and when there's a day you don't want to go to work, you simply just don't show up that day.

I think that is kind of the point. I currently reside in Australia, after I got a job here and it all started when my wife and I wanted to go interstate for a bit of a trip. Now I won't go into what actually happened but a traffic stop (for out of state plates which apparently I cant use in Texas and ended up with me, thankfully not my wife, in jail due to a misunderstanding. Even then, during release, the did so begrudgingly and still believed that I had instigated the whole situation forgetting that this was all because of a plate infraction that they made up anyway. The point I am making is that although there for every great cop that is in the community, there is probably 2 who arent so good, regardless of rank. I wish I was back home again but with things there ggetting worse and worse in my home state, police wise, I dont know if want to.

He flashed his lights to say hello and waved at them because he knew the Chief and the women (cop) pulled him over for absolutely nothing. Like he said, I didn't have to say nothing and if they did half of any police work, they would have known who he was. They are harassing him talking about the tags don't come back to the vehicle. He could have immediately said let me talk to your supervisor. He even knew the Chief name and number. A lot of times Gov vehicles and official vehicles they have to be ran through a federal database- Police don't have access to that. They have to call it in for security purposes. The tags will either come back blank or another vehicle, if not called in. Makes matters worse< They typed it in wrong-This definitely was traumatizing for the Chief seeing he did nothing to be pulled over for but to say Hi. I hope the female Cop don't make det. You can tell she trying to start something and saying he is the unprofessional one.

Ok holdup. Actually this police chief has a point. This PD is obviously dysfunctional in that they did not know this was an actual police car. That's a BASIC part of being a cop. And yes, he can absolutely say that he's not going to talk to anybody. That's a basic law in this country. I would absolutely write up both the cops that pulled him over. Not being able to run the plates right the first time with two cops is a joke, and he even tempered himself by saying that he appreciated their service. He could have just as easily pulled right on through and they wouldn't have been any the wiser, they only caught him because he actually was trying to be nice. Which should be embarrassing to the entire PD here. I bet this guy's department runs very well, given that he has everybody on the phone ready to back himself up when he was incorrectly pulled over. That is something that absolutely can happen, and given how interconnected more PD's run, it is something that SHOULD happen. It's pretty clear that given how much these PD's have worked with each other in the past, they should know better. Unawareness should not be tolerated by a PD and should be reprimanded.

Notice that when lever they get closer he brings it up a notch! As to back them up ! And when it seems like one of them was about to get to close he would say - go I’m not listening to you I’m talking to you partner you should too ! Then the other says the opposite of what he wants to hear he say , you shut up and listen to him or her! “KIND OF SHADY” I WAS AT A DEPARTMENT STORE ONCE BUYING SOMETHING AND THE GUY IN FRONT JUST HAD LEFT AND THE CASHIER SAYS TO ME THIS GUY EVERY FRIDAY COMES IN AND BUYS A NEW PAIR OF WOMANS UNDERWEAR AND A CHEAP BOTTLE OF WINE , for the past two years she said ! Significantly raise hiring and retention standards, emphasize deescalation training over the "warrior" nonsense, enforce physical fitness standards, require them to carry professional licenses that can be revoked so they can't get hired the next town over if fired, force them to carry insurance (similar to doctors and malpractice) so the taxpayers don't foot the bill for lawsuits, mandatory body cams, stop the abuse of overtime, beef up IA, restrict their use of police equipment for moonlighting side-jobs, and generally increase checks and balances. Then we can start fixing the broken courts and corrupt prison systems...

Excuse me for giving a little presentation of Islam, because it is very misunderstood nowadays, especially on those « Antichrist's » times, where media and politics are mixed to distort history and truth. And terrorists (puppets of the Antichrist) who misinterpret verses, out of ignorance and political motivations, and take them out of historical context (just like radical atheists do by the way), don't help either. Thank you very much for your time. Islam is an arabic word that means the Surrender to the One and Only God, our Creator, Protector, Provider, who gives us life and all that we have, we are safe and sound by his will and grace, we are His and to Him we return, and we have to thank him in this trial life by submitting to him by our free will, or later in the Day of judgment when it's too late to save our own skin. Islam was the original Religion descended to earth from heaven with Adam and Eve (peace and blessing be upon them) in the beginning of humanity. and was passed to people with the succession of the 124 000 prophets and 315 messengers of God to all nations and civilizations since, passing by Noah, Abraham, Isaac, Jacob, Ismaël, Joseph, Moses, Aaron, Joshua, David, Solomon and Jesus (Peace and blessing be upon them) during the history of mankind, the last replaces and completes the previous, until the succession of the last messenger of God fourteen centuries ago, Muhammad (Peace and blessing be upon him) to complete the noble morals of all mankind, to bring humans and jinns out of darkness into light, and to purify people's religion and belief from corruption and polytheism, and return it to purity and true monotheism, like it was in the times of the prophets (Peace and blessing be upon them). Many Religions that we know nowadays, at their beginning were true and under Islam, initiated by one of the prophets of God, but their original teachings, history and scriptures have been corrupted over time with falsification and polytheism, or lost and replaced with false ones. That's why Islam is the only Religion accepted by God nowadays, which consists in bearing witness that there is no god besides Allah (God in Aramaic, the original language of Jesus and the Gospel), and that Muhammad is His servant and messenger, just like Jesus and Moses and others are His servants and messengers. Never a messenger of God said he was God or literally son of God, it was the people after him who changed the words of God and corrupted the Religion. God is unique and absolute, He does not need to have a family and sons or to associate anyone else with His kingdom, He can simply create whatever He wants, everything belongs to Him, and to Him everything will return. Allah said in Surah Al-Mu’minun : “God has never begotten a son, nor is there any god besides Him. Otherwise, each god would have taken away what it has created, and some of them would have gained supremacy over others. Glory be to God, far beyond what they describe. The Knower of the hidden and the manifest. He is exalted, far above what they associate. (91-92 / Translated by ITANI). Allah means the one and only God, the God of all prophets and creatures, the creator of the universe and mankind, and the Master of the Day of judgment, where our destiny, Hell or Paradise, is decided based on our faith and deeds in this trial life, and above all, Allah's mercy. Allah said in Surah Al-Ikhlas : In the name of God, the Gracious, the Merciful. Say, “He is God, the One. God, the Absolute. He begets not, nor was He begotten. And there is none comparable to Him.” (1-4 / Translated by ITANI). Allah said in Surah An-Nisa : O FOLLOWERS of the Gospel! Do not overstep the bounds [of truth] in your religious beliefs, and do not say of God anything but the truth. The Christ Jesus, son of Mary, was but God's Apostle - [the fulfilment of] His promise which He had conveyed unto Mary - and a soul created by Him. Believe, then, in God and His apostles, and do not say, "[God is] a trinity". Desist [from this assertion] for your own good. God is but One God; utterly remote is He, in His glory, from having a son: unto Him belongs all that is in the heavens and all that is on earth; and none is as worthy of trust as God. Never did the Christ feel too proud to be God's servant, nor do the angels who are near unto Him. And those who feel too proud to serve Him and glory in their arrogance [should know that on Judgment Day] He will gather them all unto Himself: (171-172 / Translated by Muhammad Asad). Allah the Most Merciful said in Surah Ali-Imran : Behold, the only [true] religion in the sight of God is [man's] self-surrender unto Him; and those who were vouchsafed revelation aforetime took, out of mutual jealousy, to divergent views [on this point] only after knowledge [thereof] had come unto them. But as for him who denies the truth of God's messages - behold, God is swift in reckoning! Thus, [O Prophet,] if they argue with thee, say, "I have surrendered my whole being unto God, and [so have] all who follow me!" - and ask those who have been vouchsafed revelation aforetime, as well as all unlettered people, "Have you [too] surrendered yourselves unto Him?" And if they surrender themselves unto Him, they are on the right path; but if they turn away - behold, thy duty is no more than to deliver the message: for God sees all that is in [the hearts of] His creatures. Verily, as for those who deny the truth of God's messages, and slay the prophets against all right, and slay people who enjoin equity - announce unto them a grievous chastisement. It is they whose works shall come to nought both in this world and in the life to come; and they shall have none to succour them. (19-22 / Translated by Muhammad Asad).. Salam (Peace) ----------

There was a tiny lil lady on a train on the Chicago redline and she was nasty, seemed mentally ill or unstable and with her nasty words to everyone and even trying on me. I just put my headphones on and ignored her. Why??? Because I am a giant compared to her and if I got into with her I could easily made her cry or physically smash her if need be, but she wasn't worth a puff of smoke. But you're right, if I was in a different mood, I could have done what you said, but sometimes, just let it fly by you. But in most cases, you're right... Don't let others disrespect you, unless the situation looks to be dangerous for you or your family and friends, just try to walk away in the most seemingly or dangerous possible situations. Also,be armed, even with bear mace or gun, better to have that , especially these days.

What a pompous jerk doesn't even pull over to the side for other's safety and then later retaliated by not allowing them on a certain channel or something. Complete POS who should not be in that position of authority or any position of authority - they need to fire him!! He should have been arrested like anybody else would be going up and getting in their faces like that? What BS he got away with.

Agree. He endangered the public by not allowing the neighboring police department to use the same emergency radio channel as his officers. They typically share. The public is not being served as well because of his ego problems. Im glad another jurisdiction is allowing them to use their channel now, but thats way too much power for one person.
