They gotta start putting paint(washable maybe?) down instead of tape, they almost all slipped on it in the truck pull and now the yoke gets stuck on it

Because this was cut for television and they have to account for time during commercial breaks and they thought the log press clips were the least impacting to the rest of the episode.

@@TheAvesMYSTR while I tend to agree on this, the truck pull was the "spectacle" of the 2019 heats. Where if you flipped to the channel, you would see big dudes pulling big trucks by themselves. Don't get me wrong, I agree that the truck pull was kind of a miss, but in terms of "selling/showing the strongest", truck pull will beat out 8/10 events.

I usually fast forward through the truck pull. I just need a summary. I like the circus barbell press, the keg toss over the bar, the caber toss and the power stairs… all four removed from the contest! The athletes get better and better, but the events are super boring! It’s become a powerlifting contest. Bring back the “fun” !!!!!

Agreed. In the UK they do less of this and some of the commentators are very funny.

Sports have been political for the last 85 years at least, shivlyakov getting banned wouldn't be a product of 'cancel culture'
Chrissakes these narrators are annoying.
We the fans will not watch anymore strong man events until Russia pulls out of Ukraine.
