That's very good. My 2015 300 SEF only gets about 80kms to the tank. Though I think the 2T's have an extra litre without the fuel pump, plus the tanks increased in size over the years.

Both my SEFs could do around 100km with the light on... Depending on the ride, and only in Angry mode. Soft mode reduces range quite a bit.

@@Danger_mouse that's interesting. You'd think it would increase range if it's down on power. Is it just a worse state of tune?

@@samsmall12 They reduce ignition timing to make less power, it is reducing efficiency that makes the engine more docile. Running in this mode requires more throttle to maintain progress and uses more fuel

Nice, I've got the 2019. Cracking little bike which will be even better once I've retrofitted the countershaft balance. What carburetor settings do you run out of interest?

Hi Rossi, To install the counter balancer, you will need to replace the engine case. The 2021 has a new void area cast into the housing for the balance gear to rotate. For my area, altitude and temps, 38P, 168M and the N8RG needle on clip 1 is working for me. You would need to test it out for your riding area to confirm it suits 👍

Noticed there is a bit of a gap on the joint between your side panel and the rad shroud (mine is the same) Haven't seen it on many others. Any ideas?

It's a common gap for Shercos. They have has it since about 2015 at least 😒 It annoys me that they don't fit well, I believe its because the tank sits up on the frame at the rear. Sherco deleted the rear tank bolt as many owners had difficulty fitting it. Hoping the next plastic re-style might have a better fit. Otherwise the bikes are amazing 😍👍

No sorry, not on my own bike. Two Stroke Performance in Australia have been dyno tuning a 2021 and mapping the ecus 👍

No TPI, excellent torque and throttle response 🙂 Both good in their own ways. I actually like fuel injection, but the KTM system is not one of the better ones.

@@Danger_mouse have you heard any rumours about sherco's FI release yet? I can't wait.

@@JeremyRogers. Not at this stage, unfortunately. All we have to go on at this point is the statement from Sherco that they would have to make the move to fuel injection for the 2024 Euro 5 emission laws, and that they were sticking with the carburettor until they needed to change. It's possible they may change sooner, but with increased demand for the bikes and covid impacts on production last year, I personally think they'll wait. I certainly would be very surprised if it's on the 2022 models.
