This is one reason I think the car should honestly still have radar of some sort installed (which isn't being used as of the latest beta versions). Radar is the only way to see through objects or bounce light off of objects to see "around" vehicles. With just vision, the car will occasionally have no idea what its environment looks like.

I think they should leave the "aggressivness" level up to the "driver", if you want a totally pleasant and a 100% hasle free ride, you select the "Driving Miss Daisy" level, if you want a more adventurous self-drive style, the select "mad-max" mode. If robbing a bank, then select the "Fast & Furious" mode.

@@Duder0n absolutely better in downtown Chicago as it was often terrible in frenchy's 8.2 videos. It's also quite a bit better in Chuck's Florida videos, but still bad on those tough left turns.
This is the best, most unique, interesting impressive and well narrated I've seen of 9 out of a dozen or so.
Welcome back! Such a pleasure to see your video again!
Thanks! Best FSD v10 video I saw till now!!! Keep on sharing!!!
Really appreciate your patience to make this video.
by far the best fsd v9 video ive seen yet, and ive seen quite a few!
Thanks for testing in a big city. Most of the testers are hiding in small towns where they drive on straight roads. You guys are training the system so driving in harder places is of value more than easier places to drive.
love your videos!!!! please please upload more often with your voice over you make us notice small points which we would have missed without you pointing out. and how you treat AI like a baby child i just love it all
Interesting how, in the last clip, it saw the SUV as a truck that was much larger than it was in real life and tried to go wide into the turn to compensate. Very clever to think about doing that, but strange that it see something relatively small as something much larger. And I have to agree with other posts and say that your beta testing videos are my absolute favourite!
So glad you’re back! Amazing.
Thank you for this video. I thought it was such a great overview and very fair assessment of status of V9.

The fact that it can work out what to do at the junction @7:30 is incredible. 👏👏👏
Amazing! I appreciate the insight on FSD beta 9. You seriously have the best content imo.

Wow, what an awesome collection of scenarios! It did so well in so many complex situations, even when there's 10 billion people around it. Inappropriate passing is definitely the most common error I've seen among a lot of Beta 9 vids, particularly at stop lights.
I watched several of these new beta 9 videos and this by far is the most informative.
FSD be like: BROOOOO GET OUT THE ROAD BEFORE I TOKYO DRIFT AROUND YOU
Great commentary as always! Thanks for sharing :)
I don't think most people (me included) appreciate just how much FSD-tech will change everything :D Super fascinating video. Thank you!
Best FSD 9 video I've seen from anyone, thank you! :)
Thank you very much for the video and the commentary! 👏👏👏
You are without a doubt one of the better video makers regards to fsdbeta👍
It was a very visually pleasing video, with the visualizations blending into reality. Also, very fun commentary :D Thank you.

haha that situation with the cops regulating the intersection was hilarious! Going over double lines tho is a no-go. I don't know the specific rules in the US but here in Europe you get fined for crossing them.
Would be cool to see a huge FSD Beta 9 meet-up. Then have all coordinate an interesting drive scenario.
Your content on FSD is the best on KZread 👏🏻
You always put out the best FSD videos!
"the non waiting" situation is something for looking ahead. it cancels when there is some other thing in front of the car ahead. its good i think. i see that it does when upper narrow line of sight camera isn't able to see ahead. see that when there is a motorcycle in front of the tesla

This is one reason I think the car should honestly still have radar of some sort installed (which isn't being used as of the latest beta versions). Radar is the only way to see through objects or bounce light off of objects to see "around" vehicles. With just vision, the car will occasionally have no idea what its environment looks like.

You have balls of steel. The shame induced by some of these situations would make me melt on my seat, I can barely stand it even as a video.
Always appreciate your perspective!
Rly like your videos. You are also one of the best fad tester out there letting the car go very far but not too far, if u know what i mean 😅 But rly laught when it allways try to overtake slow traffic even being completely on the ongoing traffic section😂
This style of video is great. Love seeing the highlights and giving your take. Funny too. No need for scripts
Excellent video, looking forward to more!
Can you do another one of those videos where you cover up the cameras and see how much the car can process in those situations. Now that you are vision only, I am really curious about the differences and how Tesla coded logic to deal with an obstructed camera (due to sunlight, etc.)
Love it, thank you and thanks for feeding the machine!
Welcome back!!!
Great review and narration man.
Definitely the funniest, most entertaining, FSD Beta 9 video I've seen yet!

So glad you’re back dude.
Great video and energy!
That decision making process of deciding to move around a car that's stopped. Whoa. A small tweak (wait 3 seconds before the decision point is activated) would make this thing pretty much done. It handled the traffic cop situation perfectly, as well.
Thank you for the informative and entertaining content.
The best FSD 9 review I've seen so far!
it needs a camera in the left rearview mirror and one in the right facing forward. To see if it's traffic or a single car parked in the second row.
What the heck is that white car to the left of you doing at 4:28 and on? It clips over your lane to turn right? And even at a red light?
I actually did mention the multi-lane view in my FSD beta 9 release video... so one person did at least :)
Best v9 video I’ve seen!
haven't seen any fsd 9 videos with the sun on the horizon yet, really curious how it does, other vision based system look great at noon or at night but then break down with sun in face
Have you report (click) the hand gesture situations?
The King is back!
I think the biggest challenge for fully-autonomous cars are the situations that involve hand gestures, eye contact, and interaction with other humans. They can be very ambiguous and complex for computers to interpret, especially without that 'human instinct.

What is your impression of the indicator behavior? I noticed in many videos that FSD Beta 9 often forgets to indicate in some situations like entering a main road from the side (e.g. parking lot) or falsely indicates in curves.
hm, I think my Y 2021 no radar FSD, but no beta still shows only cars in line next to car itself as usual
I've said it before and I'll say it again, best FSD channel on KZread
I really want to see how FSD Beta 9 does in NYC. Many drivers are quite aggressive, and so are pedestrians, who often times are already partially in the street looking to cross at any time. And of course the insane vehicle and pedestrian density.
Super entertaining to watch the progress especially since im trying to buy a tesla soon (waiting for a supposed 25k model2?)
The best tester visualization and commentary
Love the overlay. It's really easy to compare CV with reality
VERY IMPRESSIVE!!!;) Thanks a LOT dude!!!;)
Do it recognise indicator lights by other cars ?
Great video. Thank you!
If it’s double yellow line, you will get fine, it needs improvements
awesome video man!
From my experience of driving through San Francisco downtown last month (first time there) driving at night was not easy at all. Unsure how the Tesla will be able to do this.
What's the use if my hands have to be on the steering wheel? Highway sure... won't trust city until everyone is autonomous. Or close to that.
