    I know some realtime videos can be a bit boring, but the speeded-up ones don’t allow us to evaluate just how the car behaves so well.

    San Francisco driving is so unique I would have preferred seeing the video in real time as opposed to the speed ups.

    sort of a standard with a lot of FSD KZreadrs and I appreciate it, as we Tesla aficionados are interested in knowing where it has difficulties, so it saves time without speeding it up it would be much longer.

    @@nilsfrederking62 I wasn't being general in "a lot of FSD". I was specific about SF streets. Besides, it was just my opinion about the presentation. No one is forcing you not to use the KZread FF options if they present it differently than you like, just as no one's forcing me to watch their content at all. I found this next to useless for getting a sense of how it actually drove in SF. That's still my opinion, so I'll unsubscribe and be quiet now. Great for you.

    @@carabaoboy If that's how your opinion works, nobody's forcing you to avoid using the same KZread feature you recommended to slow down the video. In the grand scheme of things, the average viewer is here to see the details of how FSD shines and how it makes mistakes. Hell, the fact that these videos can be sped up is quite a testament to how good FSD has become. The issue with speeding up the video is that you may miss a crucial moment where a mistake or impressive event occurs. Some FSD issues are minor enough to where you'd easily miss them at high speed. Not to mention, speeding up footage during production allows the editors to have smaller files for quicker rendering and uploading. TL;DR, you don't have to be a dick when responding to people's opinions, especially when your own opinion is discredited by the same points you push in your counterpoint to the other person's.

    Thank you. FSD never seems to acquit itself too well in your videos but I suspect you are always giving it the hardest jobs, which is great for the edge cases. Thanks and keep up the great work.

    @@yangdaily-andrewyangnewspo6434 ah yes, I mostly put points in the navigation that will allow the car to traverse rough corner cases. However, routes with little to no mistakes are often in suburb areas and completely uninteresting. When outside the suburbs, almost everything in the major cities here seem like corner cases.

    Looking like V10 smoothed out the path planning on turns a lot, also a bit smoother on acceleration, and it now anticipates the path being clear when pulling out into a street, rather than waiting for traffic to fully pass by before beginning roll-out. But, it's also got new lane-choosing issues and, apparently. This is mostly from other videos. Timestamps: 0:44: Momentarily turned wrong direction, then slow to correct path at end. 1:03: Indecisive choosing lane. 2:09: Slow stop and go. 2:46: Slow stop and go. 3:25: Slow stop and go. 4:08: Random slow-down. 4:20: Won't go on flashing yellow. Does go on red. 5:18: Successfully crosses 3 lanes of traffic in weird situation. 5:38: Fails to go on flashing yellow, then complete fail on navigation. 6:08: Correctly navigates weird intersection. 6:28: Perfectly completes extreme turn. 7:16: Correctly proceeds on flashing yellow.

    5:00 There's another light that was red then turned green when the blinking yellows turned red, and that's when the Tesla wanted to go (Tesla seemed to be obeying that light). I honestly have no idea how to interpret those lights and how they applied to the street you were coming out of. You guys didn't know. Maybe FSD had it right?

  • @AIAddict

    @AIAddict

    From being there in person. All 3 individuals in the car agreed that we believe the green was attributed for the perpendicular traffic from the left to right. As you could tell though, this intersection even tripped us humans up so I’m not at all disappointed in FSD.

  • @GreylanderTV

    @GreylanderTV

    Google map street viewed that intersection (easy to find "Aquarium at the Bay") ...still not sure what the lights mean. Seems like the blinking ones are more for the cross walk and the other light to the left of those was for you... there is even a light on your side facing the opposite way, and the only thing it can be for is the cross walk.... so again, maybe Tesla had it right? Beautiful corner case!

  • @AIAddict

    Great point, just jumped into Google Street view myself. The light with the angled shutters is definitely for the slanting right coming from the left to right (cross traffic). I’m still not sure what was going on. Maybe FSD was correct? I’m confused :/

    Those flashing orange have a green or a red right next to them which are reflecting right off of their blinders....look in the background...those are very easy to see at night. Probably confuses it. Maybe it would work OK in daytime.

    This was a 3 up and down normal stop light in order of top to bottom: Red, Solid Yellow, Blinking Yellow. It was very obvious the other lights were for perpendicular traffic and the car acted as such. I think we just found an edge case Tesla hasn’t programmed in yet.

  • @AIAddict

    Not often tbh. Anytime I’m on the freeway autopilot is activated 99% of the time. Once at the off ramp, I usually always drive myself. I typically only activate FSD when I feel sleepy or to impress friends. Maybe 2-3 times a week? FSD is much less predictable than production autopilot.
