Was FSD available as a subscription two years ago? Is it intentional that Tesla doesn't seem to advertise FSD being available as a $99/month subscription instead of the current $8000 add on to purchase price.

So why would you do this? This is a system that is voluntary, not mandatory, you don’t have to buy the car with this particular system. You don’t have to buy the car and have the system already before you drive off the parking lot, and like any system, nothing is 100% fail safe. So I just traded in my 2018 Tesla, M3, for a 2024 Tesla MS, and one of the reasons I did that was, because they allowed me to transfer FSD, which was then FSD (beta), and now its FSD (supervised), and not beta, and I’m currently driving on V12.3.6, and there is a new update out there, but I don’t have yet, which is V12.4.3, I believe, but I can tell you that my car today can drive a hell a lot better than I can. So can it detect every object that’s in its path, I don’t know, because I am not stupid enough to try to run my car into an object that I myself can see whether it’s a decoy object like the stuff you’re using or something else, because I am still the driver, it’s my car, it’s my life, and I’m not stupid, and I’m not trying to kill myself or anyone else. So this proves absolutely nothing, except that the people who do these kinds of things are just as stupid as the people who are willing to pooh, poo, a good idea, because they don’t like it, because they see it as a threat rather than something that could possibly save human lives. So I can tell you, my car has actually saved my life, and it has done so on more than just one occasion, because I almost, always drive using FSD, because that’s the reason I bought a Tesla in the first place, otherwise, I could just as well have bought anyone else’s car, because they don’t offer anything special or anything approaching the vision of Tesla in terms of what their future cars/vehicles will be capable of doing, because the car is the robot, something that most people don’t understand, and that Tesla vision is to remove the driver from the equation, in other words their future cars will not have steering wheels or pedals, so you won’t be able to defeat that system, the way you were doing it, because as a human driver, you need those things, but an autonomous car doesn’t need a steering wheel or pedals in order to drive the vehicle, and so the purpose of your video is really of no value whatsoever, because if you’re stupid enough to go to sleep while driving, if you’re stupid enough to say well I can do whatever I wanna do, because I don’t know, I’m just stupid, then you keep doing stupid videos like this, and people go oh yeah see I told you that it wasn’t good enough, no it’s a work in progress. That’s why they called it (beta), and now they’re calling it (supervised), meaning that it is your job to monitor and pay attention to what the system is doing, and be ready to take corrective action if needed, and eventually, we will get to where we want to be which is a level 5 autonomous driving car, and not only is Tesla FSD, ADAS driving system, not there yet, but neither are other guys, despite what Mercedes has been allowed to claim about their ADAS so-called autonomous driving system in Germany, and no place else. So please get a life, as this genie is out the bottle, and no one is going to put her back in the bottle, and if we in the US don’t get this done, you think China is going to quit? They won’t, and Elon Musk has already acknowledged that our greatest competition will come from China, and not these other guys, because they can’t make a decent electric car that people actually want to buy, and Tesla is selling cars, lots of cars, and in August, they are going to announce the launch of the Robo taxi in China, and not the states. Hey impatient ones...tesla took 9 years to even reach 65 dollars a share. NIO reach 65 dollars in 3 years since being on the market. Teslas ATH was 406 in 2021 and its now at 178 in june of 2024. Stop panicking NIO is not a crypto meme token. Things take time, u would be foolish not to buy, those who got at the opening price have lost parience because thats how this generation is. Thats why price is dropping, im glad they are selling. It gives me a great entry point because when this stock gets into the 100s and 1000s of dollars in the future ill be rich and many of you will be kicking yourselves for selling as this company is spending money to build its brand! NIO is gonna change my life and my childrens lives. I drive SR 17 “over the hill” as we call it and I also find that 12.3 comes WAY too close to the median wall. The yellow line Is sometimes painted right up against the wall with the BOTS DOTS within the line itself. I don’t think the car is correctly sensing the wall proximity. It definitely needed intervention. Another bug I’ve seen more than once is signaling to change lanes, then realizing it’s not safe, pulling back before trying it again. It seems too cautious sometimes and too aggressive other times.

Would upgrading the battery through an independent shop like this give Tesla a reason to cancel free lifetime charging? I'm thinking about buying a cheap model X and upgrading the battery.
I owned a 2021 model Y and passed out at the wheel due to a health condition that I was not aware of until after my accident. I was driving approximately 25 miles an hour and the car kept going straight Hello Petsmart shoppers the time is now 855 and the store will be closing in five minutes. into a light pole and did not stop. Unfortunately I was OK with the car was totaled.
I work in China on a contract… bought an EC7 about a year ago after mostly owning BMW M products before… all I can say is this is the best car I have ever owned! Makes everything else look and feel ancient… Only thing I had to modify is put PS4S tires on ….just wish by the time I come back to US/Canada, I would be able to take my Nio with me or at least be able to buy one there! Also they need to figure out a way to bring those battery swap stations to North America as this is a real game changer here in China… I can drive almost anywhere without having to wait to charge my car and it costs almost nothing! I think they should let people own battery swap stations in US and make there own prices on battery swaps, so it is a free market… it wont be as cheap as China but will definitely move the EV market forward!

Great question, no. I only had a passenger on the second test. In reality, I’ve been able to achieve sub 4 second in ideal conditions. Average is what you saw on camera though.
