If you want to change things, stop worrying about who to like and start working towards climbing the ladder. The more money and influence _you_ can secure, the more you can acquire the attention of those who are actually in power. Hoping that RFK Jr. or Trump does something is a waste of energy, time, and attention, as is our current conversation. Not sure why this bothers people. The tech for it has been around a long time and NASA uses the same process to recycle water. This just lets them skip unnecessary steps. Basically they treat the water, then dump it, then pull it back into another facility where they have to retreat it. This skips the whole dumping it back into the environment. You are getting the same water with the😢 redundant steps removed. You are already drinking recycled water.

In UK some buildings have this closed water circle. When I found out I avoided to use that water even for coffee or tea. That water was strange, some people using it for coffee and tea said it had strange taste. Even some bottles of water for example evian had bad taste and some particles in it, something like sand remaining in mouth or on tongue. I talk about 16 years ago.

The problem with using this water directly is that the filtration and cleaning methods can't get rid of the hormones (from the contraceptive pill etc), and forever chemicals such as PFAS, & microplastics. And if that water is continually recycled without ever being diluted into the environment, then you're concentrating all those chemicals and nano-particles and building them up over time. The other issue is that reverse osmosis and other filtration will remove pretty much all mineral content from the water, and then if you drink it, you will strip minerals from your own body over time. So even though we can treat sewage so it's clean from bacteria, it still shouldn't be drunk directly over and over.

We've been doing that in our town for decades, but it's returned to clean river water while the waste is completely cleaned out. It takes a lot longer than 24 houra to be done properly, though. Anything less than that amd you run a high risk of spreading bacterial infections through the water.
