Thanks u so much. I just put a 1/5 servo in my arrma Outcast 8s and I needed to set endpoints on the servo. Can y'all let the Arrma team or Jason know need to change the manual make directions more simple. Because I got confused in the manual. Y'all made lot easier. Let the team know make a little change. Any people getting mad about this in the Arrma groups

Can the 3rd channel be setup to rear steering? What would be the reason to assign another power servo?

Can the DX3 be used to run a kill switch on a gas 1/5 scale? How would set up be since there aren't end points like a servo?

Honestly it's making me wonder if it saves the servo having your super wide turns for your 3rd channel and regular turns for your main channel

I Hava a sr315 can I run a dig function from aux1 as a 3rd channel?

Hey my car keeps going in reverse when I'm trying to go forward and left goes right how do I fix this

Grate video! Does someone know why my steering is reversed on my kraton 6s? I have to switch the switch knob to R for it to be normal. It’s not a big deal, but kind of annoying. I have the DX3 with the SR6110AT. I’ve calibrated it a couple of times to try to fix it but I can’t seem to make it reverse bak. I’ve just bought it in used condition. Thanks!

That's because whoever you bought it from installed an aftermarket servo. If you used a Spektrum \ Arrma servo, you wouldn't need it to be set to "R" It doesn't matter though, it's just a side effect of replacing the crappy stock servo. I have to do the same on my transmitter. It's no big deal. There's nothing wrong with your vehicle or transmitter. It's just stock Arrma \ Spektrum servos run in reverse because they were designed by a Satanist. Same reason they use 23 tooth servo horns: they're evil and they hate normal things.

As soon as i get blue light to flash i cant control anything on the vehicle to set endpoints. No steering no throttle etc

What does it mean to set channel 2 end points to 100/100?

Do you power on the car first and then the Transmitter in order to do this? I already blew off my stock Servo. Wonder if it's because of the end points. S652

Stock Arrma servos suck. Mine lasted 5 weeks. It'll last a little longer if you carefully set endpoints before driving, but Arrma servos never last very long. Every Arrma I buy, I make sure to buy a cheap 35kg DSServo brand servo to have for when the stock servo craps out. I have same servo as you and right out of the box it makes funny noises. It's a cheap, bad servo.

I would like to say thank you for your support and your video i did learn few things from it , and please i need your help with my Arrma felony i don't know what i did wrong and was drivable and we have-the best times and next things everything's stop somehow i change the setting on the transmitter than i start tase it but i feel the more i do the more is going to be bad , please i need some help first i try to calibrated than somehow the setting changed on the transmitter the steering turn to throttle and the throttle turn to steering idk what i did and know i think i fix the issue but the car does not drive just for few second will turn right , left , and the green light is on the plink and i lost the throttle thank you for thinking your time . i hope you understand it sorry my egling typing is not the great

Ive tried everything and its all worked but forward throttle. Only way i can set throttle is holding the throttle forward, steering to the right, bind button and then the on/off button. then it lets me set end points for throttle, however when i turn the radio off and on to see if the programming worked i only have reverse???

Hmm, that is strange. The clue here is that you cannot use the normal channel 2 method to set your throttle endpoints as shown at video time= 1:10. You have described the channel 3 endpoint adjustment routine shown at 2:15. My guess is that you have throttle (esc) plugged into channel 3 of the receiver. Try plugging it into channel 2. This video helped me a lot with setting steering endpoints to avoid burning out the steering servo.

Why do you set the endpoint to half way. Don’t you lose a little bit of travel?

Yes.. but if the extra travel is just trying to jam the mechanical linkage past it's stop/limits you will burn out your servo. Setting endpoints on the radio will protect the servo in those cases.

I got this DX3 transmitter and one day when I turn it on and then turn on my truggy. Suddenly the transmitter is having one light turning red/green blinking a lot and with this very annoying chirping music tone sound coming from it. Afterward, my truggy being to reverse and lost control. What is happening? During that time, there are other people running their RC cars already, and I'm around a huge rail-road train track as my environment. Just laying out the setting of the situation. If anybody can chime in on what's going on, that will be much appreciated.

The batteries in your transmitter could be low. That same red/green blinking happened to me and checking the battery voltages with a multimeter showed less than one volt on a couple batteries. Adding new batteries stopped the flashing and chriping

For some reason even following this my third channel stays as a momentary switch

How do you do this if the servo is already on the truck? How can you know where halfway is

😢1. He is choosing halfway as an illustration- an example. Each vehicle is different. 2. He had the servos out so that we can see the change in servo endpoints. Your vehicle may need 1/4, 3/8, 5/8 or 3/4 of full travel to keep from driving the servo past mechanical limits of your steering linkage and overloading the servo. I just turned the wheel to full and then dialed back the steering rate knob QUICKLY so that the overload was momentary.

People use the third channel to turn lights on and off, activate a winch or digging mechanism, etc. You only need two channels to drive around.
