That would probably be a hit and all but from what Mike said about how he wants the book to affect to people, I don't think that would be his goal.... To entertain others from his past. It kinda de-values the aim of the effort he has put into it. Just my opinion

To everybody who comments “I’m starting to like Logan Paul.”: I think we all need to realise that Mike is a huge reason to why Logan is now ‘likeable’. Logan is now being his true self, and luckily we’re all able to see him for who he is now. A f*cking brilliant entertainer. It’s clear that Mike has been a huge influence in Logan’s life. Using his own mistakes and/experiences to help Logan out. This podcast is f*cking amazing, and you guys on Impaulsive have inspired me a crazy amount. Me and my best mate love this podcast, and we hope to be just as entertaining as you lot some day. Keep up this quality work.

I have now been clean for almost 3 years and is still going strong. Keep your head up high to all the addicts out there, your sober time will soon come if you really want it, but first you need to admit to your self you have an addiction and then you really have to seek help! It definitely is not easy but I know You got this! 🤗🙏🙏

It's SO rare to see a recovering heroin addict with such a massive social following be so HONEST about their past! As an addict myself I am just really grateful and it makes me feel like our story as a whole is being heard. It's such a unique human experience that you can't really understand unless you've been there. It's hard to explain or for people to relate or have empathy for but addicts need empathy. Believe me we all have enough shame. We're harder on ourselves, we literally torture and destroy our bodies on a daily basis so shaming an addict into getting clean doesn't work. We just need out families to love us. Not try to fix us or enable us but to just love us.. regardless. Mike speaking about his own experiences makes me feel heard too! Opiate addiction is a pandemic in our country and a death sentence for most. If people only knew what a redemption story this is!!! 🙏😉 For context... Over a 20 year period of time... I can count on one hand how many heroin addicts I've known that got clean and then stayed clean for more then a year or two... I'd need two hands to count how many friends I know who have died from heroin. Mike not only got clean and stayed clean but he became a famous millionaire!? It really is an amazing story!! Anyway, I hope Mike is an inspiration for other addicts and I have bought the book... I just need to read it now! Haha! 📚😃🤘

It’s not easy. Men have been culturally programmed to hide emotions, or atleast to keep them away from commending their actions that could have drastic repercussions to themselves and the people arround them. It’s not a « pride » thing. No men is happy, or feel better, because he hides his emotions. Ask any men you know if they ever wanted to quit, to lose their responsabilities, to let life eat them. Ask them if they never cried, felt lost, completely out of touch and if they never felt weak upon how life threat them. All of them will say yes, they did. And it’s hard to keep it in. But we do, because the clock is ticking, because others have worse problems, because the family needs food on the table, and because that’s our role to keep going.

As a girl from a small town in Connecticut, I relate to your story so much. Started from a dr that over prescribed me medication. I had the white picket fence. I lost it all & clawed my way back. Thank you for writing this book.

This was, and probably will be the only episode where I don't go and do anything, touch anything or distract myself. I listened with intent and I focused on everything said or done. After watching every, single podcast this is the one. The one that if you're a fan of the podcast it means more than you could ever imagine. If mike reads this or any of the impulsive cast, please know that this shaped the way I see everything around me. Thank you for all you have done to create and share these life stories of all of you. I can't say I've ever done drugs or anything but being able to see how dark it can get really changes the way I see them today. Thank you. Mike, you're an inspiration to us all and you leading these stories of past experiences is truly international. I will be praying for this book after the podcast and I hope it gets the full love and support it, and you truly deserve. God will be by your side with this one Mike, I know it.

I feel like what people over look is that he’s been on the rim of death. They are tired of hearing the stories, but look where he is right now. Half of these people would love to be in Mike’s shoes but would hate to be apart of his past. They don’t understand the magnitude of how his past life truly affected him as well as almost killed him. This is one of the most life changing moments to go from death to success. He fell down and he got back up, let him speak his life. As I quarantine it helps more people than most of the audience.

Mike - I know you will probably never read this comment, but I just wanted to say that this podcast has inspired me more than anything. I have dealt with extreme trauma, stemming from a misdiagnosed disease for over 10 years. The doctors told me that I would be in a wheelchair and my spine would be completely fused before I was 30. I found out 10 years later I was dealing with a completely different illness to what I was told. By this time I was almost dead because the illness had progressed so far and I had no treatment. I was extremely close to ending my life several times, and this was in my early 20s. My addiction to opiods stems from this illness and extreme pain. I am lucky that I finally figured out what was wrong with me and I could get the proper treatment and start to heal. It's been 2 years my health is about 50% better, and I am almost back to having a completely normal life. I have lost a lot of time, I am 27 this year with very little experience, but I am now studying a masters degree in Finance and Economics to pursue my dream career. It's stories like yours that need to be told, and I have a huge amount of respect and admiration for you, what you have gone through, and the fact that you are trying to make a positive impact on people's lives who are suffering.

Hello my friend, I'm curious, were you diagnosed with an auto immune disease called Ankylosing Spondylitis? I ask this because I lived in horrible pain from the time I was 20 years old until I was finally diagnosed with a genetic disease called Ankylosing Spondylitis and it will cause your spine to fuse together depending on how advanced it is. I had doctors that didn't believe me for years and they thought I was a drug seeker because I could barely walk sometimes. It wasn't until I was 31 years old with a terrible opioid addiction just from the pills my doctor had been giving me. They found out through a blood test that I had this disease and I've been on these injections I have to take every two weeks called Humira. It literally saved my life eventhough they do have some rare negative side effects I've yet to experience. But there's nothing worse than being addicted to opiates because of how sick your body gets when you don't take them. I've been clean from the opioid pain pills since 2013 and that's a miracle because my family had bought my burial plot when I was 26 years old. I'm glad to be alive now and there's hope for anyone who truly wants help. I wish you the best.

This hit so hard. Imagine what Mike did in 10 years, I did it in 2. Started out with weed, and ecstasy, and ended in cooking meth for a whole county in Hungary. At 17 years old, I was introduced to weed, and from that point on, I was hooked on narcotics. Ate more than 130+ ecstasy pills in one year, cooked close to 50 pounds of meth, and completely destroyed my life. Bought guns to defend my territory, went into literal war with other groups and individuals, just to keep my chain. Had a Serbian put a gun to my head, seen things I don't want to remember, but will, for the rest of my life. And then Mike Majlak, and The Night Shift came into my life, and flipped it up side down. Threw all my contacts out, changed my phone number, sold every last of my drugs, and quit this fucking circle. Never ever try drugs. It isn't fun.

I just ordered the book. Shit this touched me. Whoever is reading this, please keep reading. I did not just order it to support mike (yet that was a big part) I ordered it to understand how anything can happen to anyone, and it doesn’t matter who you are, you can go through hell. I can’t wait to read about what mike has went through and what changed him to be the amazing human being he is. I struggle with depression and this is one of my biggest fears. The fear of myself letting drugs come into my life is the only reason that they aren’t here yet. I strive to be as good as mike and push myself to be better everyday no matter what will happen. You can too. Nobody is ever alone. Ever. People love you. I love you. I don’t know you but I love you.

To support an individual who is on a good path after so much tribulation. I don’t agree with him all the time but I know mental health struggles and addiction on a personal level, and will always support anybody who’s thriving despite those challenges. Keep moving forward, Mike. Thanks for being a positive influence.

ive struggled with addiction for almost a decade now. im turning 27 in June and am fortunate to at least have a roof over my head thanks to my father. Even tho im on thin ice with our relationship thats more than most people have my in situation. I relate to everything you talk about Mike ive been there. By no means am i a tough dude but ive spent over 2 years in jail. ive had tht gun to my face, ive been robbed, done the robbing, been beat up, did the beating up. I have absolutely nothing to show for it. i have nothing to show for myself. i lost women i lost friends i lost almost everything that makes me happy. The fact ive seen so many people around me die from living my lifestyle horrifies me but makes me realize i need to stop. i beat death so many times i believe i have a purpose. and as much as im depressed and want to end it all the fact im still here opening my eyes every morning is the only reason i even hold on to a glimpse of hope. because i truly believe i have something of value to something or someone on this planet. Your story is a huge inspiration to me and i ordered your paperback copy of the book today. im really looking forward to this read and i really hope after it will give me tht push to change. I know ultimately its my decision and its only up to me and no book or anything will do it for me. but motivation is something i need right now. Thank you so much mike for being open.
