Simon being humble about the role he played in helping JJ coming up is so wholesome. No matter how great an artist is (not taking anything from JJ here), there's always a producer that polished the end result - to use a music analogy. Simon was for JJ what Bob Ezrin was for Pink Floyd (youtube-wise of course, not talking about JJ's music career) and he's doing the same for Sidemen. If you know you know 😉

Mad respect for Mike in this episode taking on the gun issue. As a Canadian, I fully understand the viewpoint of Ethan and the English guys over the Americans. I live in Toronto and I've literally never once in my 30+ years of life walked around the city and been worried a gun will be pulled on me. Not saying it's impossible or that it doesn't happen to some people, but it's so uncommon and infrequent if you are not involved with criminal activity or rougher areas that it's not a real concern. That's why the American's don't understand, because they have never known a society where you can actually trust that you're going to be safe on a day to day basis despite the possibility of outlier events happening. Americans are going to need to address the issue slowly to allow future generations to heal from that trauma.

This episode had the best flow of any Impaulsive episode I've watched. Started with fun stuff like diss tracks, drinking and women. Then moved on to a little more serious things like Ethan becoming a dad, being under KSI's shadow and their creative side of things. And the final jump to straight up one of the most mature conversations about guns and life in general I've seen on youtube, including from actual political commentators. The way they tried to understand each other's points and add something instead of insulting someone's opinion was brilliant.

Huge shout out to Mike for actually paying attention, over the years it became more about profit rather than quality and the people are getting fed up about it, that’s why you see these public figures getting canceled for little stuff as they are the beacon to bringing people to a conversation, it cuts out the media from them having a saying, the media is realizing that they can’t control the people no more ,so how do they? By attacking the people we look up to unfortunately. Sorry if This doesn’t make sense 😂
