The reason why AEW was great when punk was around is because he understood what a casual fan wants from a wrestling company. When he was pretty much writing collision, it was easily by far the best wrestling show they were producing. The reason is because Punk understands the value of storytelling and characters. On top of that, he was elevating talents who truly deserved to be elevated like ricky starks, house of black and so on. The issue with TK is that he doesn't understand the importance of characters and stories. His failure to see this is the reason why AEW is declining right now. Like cm punk said, this Indy mindset will never sell tickets.

NGL the best thing that happened on this show was a fan saying. “WHO BOOKED THIS SHIT” during Jay White promo 😂

Well I enjoyed it, had some good wrestling , a little bit of story , death triangle, a flame thrower, a blood bath, 4 hot girls kissing. For me this was a top event.

I really think that Tony Khan knows hes not getting the tv deal he thinks AEW is worth and he just doesn't care so he's just throwing anything out there because right now AEW is ice cold

The issue with AEW right now is they keep pushing the same group of people. Guys like jericho, moxley, young bucks and orange cassidy were great back in 2019-2021. Now those guys have overstayed their welcome. WCW had the same issues. Guys like hogan, nash and hall were instrumental back in 1996-1998. By the time 1999 rolled around, people got tired of seeing them and wanted fresh faces.

I love what JD and Jesse's take was on the triple threat match if I were the official in that match I would let it continue on because if Jericho were facing both Hook and Shibata in that match at double or nothing what was the point of the triple threat match in the first place I honestly would have made it a one on one match between Shibata and Hook and as far as the bounty hunter Bryan Keith goes I would've paid him to take out Bryan Danielson before double or nothing instead of having him face Satnam Singh tonight honestly this episode of dynamite could've been better it was awful tonight with what we got.

Did I miss something? Joe lost the belt and now doesn’t have a PPV match? Has he come out on any show saying he wants a rematch or wants to go get his belt back?

However my interest in their product is so low right now , with all the Elite stuff and so many other things going on throughout the show . I find it hard to really enjoy and like the product. "Brood" Edge was a nice surprise. Great to see Prince Nana back on AEW TV. Only the Black-O'Reilly match was entertaining for me. I laughed when Darby Allin got out of the vehicle, which was riden by TK, and saved Danielson with a flamethrower 🔥. The moment the original heart & soul of AEW Cody Rhodes, who was the original Head booker & Head of creative from the beginning when he booked AEW to be the "Alternative" left, was the moment AEW began to fall off a damn cliff. Remember the opening line in Cody's statement when he left "Tony Khan has taken the baton & run with it" The show is trash! 🗑

What Tony Khan fails to realise is that his stubbornness and inability to change is what's going to hurt AEW. He's doing the same shit Vince did before he was removed. Booking for himself. Plus, most of his active roster thinks they can do no wrong. I understand they may be having "fun" out there, but that doesn't equate to good television

I’m feeling less and less inclined to watch AEW every week. It’s becoming 2010 TNA Impact bad. A year and a half ago, I was a massive AEW fan. And the show has become such a chore to watch.

I was so pissed with TK that I've not watched AEW since London and the Punk incident. But I can't stay away knowing that Rey fenix is back. Rey has given us some of the greatest matches in AEW to date and I'm excited about the prospect of Ospreay and Fenix going head to head. Ospreay is the best in the world but no one can challenge him when it comes to aerial moves like that of Rey Fenix.

JD, To build story and Mervedes into a big heel, what would you think of this? At the finish, Mercedes hits her finisher, then pins Willow for a 2 count and grabs Willow and purposely pulls Willow up. (Teasing she won, but not go through with it) leave Willow laying there, then Mercedes purposely steps out of the ring and gets herself counted out (10 count) and officially loses. Mercedes would show everyone she could have won, but disrespects Willow and the TBS title so bad and laughs at her on her way out to where Willow gets super disrespected by Mercedes. I think Mercedes could possibly turn herself into the biggest heel that way, and Willow would be steaming pissed. Mercedes would be basically telling Willow and the TBS title is beneath her driving Willow crazy. Could lead into a magical storyline. What you think?

Well there was actually some good stuff among all of the INCREDIBLY bad stuff. Brood Edge and Alistair Black is FIRE - and that match coming up on Sunday will be sensational. Very obvious that Adam is having more fun right now than he’s had in years. Swerves match was good but basically a waste- but that post match angle with Nana was fantastic. We really need Prince Nana out there with Swerve every week - he’s almost as important as Swerve himself. The finale with Darby and the Flamethrower was tons of fun- ridiculous but fun. But so many other things on the show were just terrible Especially the triple threat eliminator coming after a bunch of OTHER eliminators for Jerichos silly title. Jerichos gimmick is funny but definitely better in small doses. Still appreciate that Jericho seems to get bored with himself quickly and always reinvents himself to keep things interesting. And Moxley and Takeshita in a ELIMINATOR match for a title that Mox ALREADY HAS?? On a PPV??? HUH?

Three things that I like about AEW the tag team between Osprey and Orange. Cassidi amazing the return of Prince helping swerve and brood Adam Copeland everything else on the show was dead on arrival

I gave up on AEW a few months ago. This company was fucking awesome to watch the first few years. Now it’s a shell of what it was and could be. Tony is going to book this thing into oblivion if no one steps in and fixes the problems at hand. All these AEW die hards really pretend like there’s no problems and that everything is fine and dandy. If that’s how you cope, so be it, but facts are facts. It’s time for people to face the reality that this company is working against itself and they refuse to acknowledge that. Whenever the shows, storylines, and dialogue/writing gets better, someone let me know cause I refuse to waste my time watching this piss poor quality.

AEW is on the *danger zone* of being unwatchable. I’ve watched since the start. Bought PPVs. The whole thing. That song JD plays that says “I don’t even know why I try anymore. I don’t even knowwwwwwwwww.” That’s how I feel every Wednesday. This place is *completely* LOST. The show was horrible. Not like WWE has been any better. It’s been a borefest the last 2-3 weeks. PS: I gotta say, Jericho made me pop LOL with his over the top act. It literally caught me off guard and I was LOL.

I disagreed. AEW Dynamite show may not be perfect, but it's better than the shit WWE put on their shows. HHH fumbled with the King and Queen of the Ring tournaments. It's a joke and a mess. I hate seeing Jey Uso getting pushed. I don't like to watch anything the Judgement Day do on TV. HHH slowly burying the Japanese wrestlers. I especially hate their booking of the tag team divisions and their women's divisions. The Elite hostile takeover, Christian Cage vs Swerve feud, Edge vs House of Black feud, and Willow vs Mercedes Mone is more entertaining than the stupid lame King and Queen of the Ring tournaments.
