Fritz Lang's THE BATMAN - mashup video trailer - 40's - The lost movie.

Фильм және анимация

Batman 40's mashup video.
Plot:
Gotham City is in the midst of a terrible war between two rival criminal gangs. On one side is the gang that has controlled the underworld until now, led by Oswald Cobblepot (alias "the Penguin") and his scientific assistant Hugo Strange (an expert weapons and traps manufacturer). On the other side is the gang of "The Clowns", led by a mysterious man known only as "The Joker," who is attempting to usurp power from the former. Death and destruction dominate the streets, and the police department is unable to halt all this chaos. However, all is not lost: a strange masked figure has emerged in the city and has begun dispensing justice on his own in a highly effective manner. He is THE BATMAN. Commissioner Gordon won't hesitate to ally with him to put an end to the crime wave.

@@maddoctorfilms Not long before DC Comics revived Captain Marvel, the *_National Lampoon_* ran a strip depicting Billy Batson suffering endless frustration over being under an injunction to not say "Shazam!" At last, released from his legal stricture, Captain Marvel took off to "make the Seventies sing!" It would be fun if your trailer began with Billy Batson, around 1963, walking past a newsstand where he sees early issues of *_Fantastic Four_* and *_Justice League of America,_* and then coming home to a letter which turns out to be legal notice that he'd been released from his court order.

Veidt was my first choice, but I finally decided on Widmark because "The Man Who Laughs" has no dialogue. Besides, I wanted to give the Joker more gangster vibes. Even so, Veidt is a great choice too, of course. Thanks for the comment!
