About 10 years ago, this magnificent horse came to West Michigan to a famous local Friesian farm. I was able to stand next to him, pet him, get my picture taken with him. He is one of the most amazing horses I've ever seen.

What makes him so much more gorgeous than the rest is the fact that even when he went thru the choreography, he still had that wild fire and arrogance in his moves that showed he could not be completely tamed by the trainer.

What a beautiful stallion. I cant imagine the time and care that goes into taking care of that mane. Just gorgeous.

I’d imagine they keep it braided most of the time but redo it daily or at least a few times a week or it would break.

OUTSTANDING horse. I grew up around Friesians here in Colorado and can tell you from experience, Frederik is VERY impressive.

The definition of gorgeous. Majesty, splendor and joie de vivre all in one beautiful stallion. Thanks for the eye candy!

I have chill bumps watching this awesome horse run in its splendor!

Frederick the Great is the god of all horses just such a majestic creature that he borders on the divine .To watch this gorgeous horse move is like poetry in monition it is a treat to behold and if they had to put one image of what the most perfect horse in the world is in a encyclopedia it would be Frederick the Great ❤

He feels the positive energy of the crowd in awe over him. Its like a drug to him lol

This is a very fine horse, who has had the best training, and vet care. The investment of time certainly shows. It is a big job every day to keep the mane and tail free of tangles. Thank you, for the great show.

I've only ridden 1 Friesian and it was an interesting ride. Friesians move a little different than the Warmbloods I'm used to riding. It would be something I'd like to try again if ever I had the chance.
