I GOT TO MEET HIM!! He came to do a clinic at a rescue ranch I go to. He helped a few troubled horse owners to understand their horse’s issues/troubles and showed the audience how to read their language and really connect with them. I got to watch him work for a while. There was this one beautiful paint mare, who on the first day of the clinic, nearly ran him over in the round pen. Three days later, that same horse stayed completely calm and respectful the entire time he worked with her. He is really incredible with these animals and I aspire to be like him some day.

With the way the light reflects off their impossibly glossy black coats, and those amazing flowing manes and tails, these Friesians look ethereal. (I wish my hair looked that beautiful!) The mutual respect, love and joy these horses share with this man is breathtaking.

I love how his bond with the first beautiful creature is shown all through out, this horse craves his attention. I just can't get over the love, the trust, the absolute bond this man has with these beautiful horses! You can just see that not a single cruel hand has been lain upon the horses in his care.

yes and you can even see when the horse just wants to let loose for a minute and he allows it as if it's part of the show never losing his temper, then he changes his body lets the horse know it's time to start. Then they stop playing and come to show off with him.

I love that this just showed horses being....horses, you know? These horses ran free and were loving it. They had so much trust to each other and there trainer. Absolutely mesmerizing.

This is so incredibly impressive! The way he just plays with them and they 100% trust him. I've seen him live in 2011 and it's just mesmerizing

Je comprends comment vous pouvez "parler" avec eux comment vous devez faire pour avoir leur attention, soumission, collaboration, amitié et confiance. This is amazing! Finally someone who takes the time to become one with their horses and uses the whips correctly!!! It is obvious that his horses love him and completely trust him. They also love to do what they are doing or they would not be doing it! He never asks them to do something they do not do naturally. Just beautiful!

@@cindyj5522 they need some kind of cue but do you see any bits in their mouths? Or saddles or reins? He doesn’t need those. The horses look completely natural and relaxed.

I saw Cavalia when his show was in Somerville, MA. 2.5 hours went by like 10 minutes. I was spellbound!

I find it refreshing to see these animals perform out of love and respect. Rather than fear and abuse. Absolutely beautiful💕.

i love that out of all the performers out there like him, he genuinely LOVES the horses. you can see it on his face as he watches them and gives them hugs and kisses.

As a horse owner I cannot imagine the training that this guy put into those horse's, absolutly outstanding to say the least.

Russell Makar My pony is very well trained, yet since he is still young, around 9 he could still learn some manners from this amazing person.

As amazing as horse riding can be, I love that the horses are so respected for their natural behaviours here. Truly just respect. Its so beautiful.

So beautiful and well trained. That man is a true work of art!

So lovely to see such mutual respect and understanding between man and animal. You can clearly tell it's all fun and play for the horses, utilizing their natural behavior for the show. To see how eager they are to please Frédéric shows just how kind of a spirit and clean energy he has. Simply enchanting to watch!

Very pretty, beautiful indeed, loved the trainer's big smile throughout the show, and not a forced but genuine smile. His attitude immediately excused any minor miss the horses did, a true delight to watch, well-made show with good music and tempo. Not to forget, these are stallions, which makes it even more impressive. Wow-factor.

After viewing two painful-to-watch dressage videos for the first time in my life, watching these horses being horses was a lovely antidote. No rider, no bit, no tugging bridle, no spurs. And no crazy, unnatural movement. (Except for maybe sitting on their haunches, but they seem to do it willingly, unforced.) My favorite part was just watching them run free. Also, their relationship with their human looked loving and trusting. And they are gorgeous! Those beautiful, glossy black coats!

this is what a horse show should be. it's very beautiful and it doesn't seem like the animals aren't in any pay but if anything enjoying themselves.

AWESOME!!! From a family that loves horses to another: AWESOME!!! The training involved to have 3 STALLIONS in control is coniderable, the love and dedication, immeasurable!

I love how this show is all about the horses being themselves. Horses are extremely sensitive to human body language and he is demonstrating that, how you back up to draw them toward you and how much they love to run. Very beautiful. The perfect harmony, the mutual trust and the obvious bond. The horses choose to be with Frédéric. Two are Friesians exemplified by the blue-black coat (required for licensing in their stud book) and feathered legs. The third (added last) is not. He is actually considered "dark brown" in horseman's terms because of the brownish color in his flanks. He is also without feathers on his legs....could be an Andalusian, but I'm not sure.

It's even more fun to watch the horses having fun and playing with someone they trust and love than seeing him on their backs. So lovely.

I was crying all the time watching it. Cant explain why. Probably because he treated These majestic animals how they need to get treated: with the greatest respect and in freedom. As a Result all of them are shining with glory the horses and mankind who is acting in the right way how they where supposed to treat earth and animals Since all the times. But nearly everybody over all the centurys was damaging the earth and being cruel to animals. This man is showing how its done with love. Guess thats what made me cry - to feel the difference and how peace with horses feels. Not misusing them for winning medals and money, not riding them Hurting their backs and sensitive Mouth, not eating their meat. Such a wonderful example, Sooo beautiful. Thank you!!!
