Ойын-сауық

www.delmarnational.com/ www.grandlibertyfarm.com/
A ninth generation performer, Sylvia Zerbini has captivated audiences across the globe since the age of five. Her father, a wild animal trainer, and her mother, a famous trapeze artist, allowed Sylvia to ultimately nurture her true passion, working with her family’s horses. Blessed with a gift for reading horses, Sylvia professionally trained and performed with horses at liberty while still a young teen.
The former star of the acclaimed Cavalia, Sylvia orchestrates the movements of eight to 10 gorgeous white Arabians, a truly memorable and mesmerizing theatrical performance. Among her many awards and accomplishments, Sylvia is especially proud to have received the prestigious Cup of Monaco, presented to her by Monaco’s Prince Rainer.

I've seen her in person. Those horses definitely trust her. She had about ten horses in the ring when I saw her and one I remember was a stallion. The others were either mares or geldings. It was amazing to watch. I was wary about the fact that she had a whip but she wasn't hitting them with it. She was giving cues and making corrections.

For all you haters of this... horses are so much rougher on each other than she was! That kind of whip is used regularly to desensitize horses not beat them, you can’t beat a horse and have them respond the way those horses did to her, they care for her almost as much as she does for them! To bad you don’t know about horses you would appreciate them more and what she did with them!

She is amazing, I ride and people just don't realize that a horse would not do those things unless they completely loved and trusted her. Horses are intelligent and beautiful animals who know when to trust someone. If they were in pain or didn't trust her fully they would not listen or bite/kick her. If you watch carefully she gives them much affection, treats in the beginning and scratching during the show. She loves them a ton and they love her back.

that kind of whip is not designed to cause pain or even crack.it's designed to give a gentle tap.what she's actually doing with it is tapping the horse so it knows it's getting a reward soon aka it's a event marker.which is one of the very basics when it comes to positive reinforcement and choice training aka the most common type of training method used now days. you clearly know nothing about animal training if you think beating a animal into submission is how trainers get animals to do things.you don't get complex behaviors when you beat a animal you get animal that can do one very simple action that is easily broken when negative reinforcement isn't constantly given.

1: Does anyone see her smacking the horse silly with the object in her hand? No. It's apparent that only very few people know the difference between someone STRIKING a horse vs lightly tapping 2: You cannot force a horse into Liberty Training. They have to build trust and the trainer must be incredibly patient. If a horse is abused by their owners they will never want to follow them around or keep near them when they have enough space to get away or fight back. 3: Make sure you actually know the trainer's techniques. Dont just assume someone to be evil dirty horse abusers because they hold something that looks like or is a whip. That's just lazy and ignorant. Please actually take the time to research the trainers before making harmful assumptions based on mouth to mouth information.

The ''Silly thing'' in her hand is called a whip. Whip's are very DANGEROUS toward horses and should not have a right in this world. 1. Whip's can harm a horses body part and leave marks for possibly months, Or can last a life time. Now, I know you may be thinking. ''How is a whip harmful?'' well, if you look at a whip close up, There is a flat tip on the end. That flat tip is Rubber. You can lash a horses rear in racing, On buggies, and when you are taking lessons. 2. This should NOT be permitted in any type of country on the world. MANY and I mean, MANY horses have had serious marks from Whips. Some have even DIED from being abused by them. 3. Horse racing. Horse Racing is a sport of some sort, but it is VERY deadly. by using a whip in racing, you use a whip by lashing the horses rear to make it go faster in order to win. my estimates have turned out to be that, 40 - 70% of people are AGAINST horse racing, while other support it. Which, in Racing, the only people who would be supporting the racing would be the Jocks, the people who enjoy/watch it, (I do not like you people) and the managers. 4. Buggies. Buggies were used in the late and early 16 - 1900's. How it can damage a horse is when the Coach (the driver of the buggie) uses a LONG whip, to lash a horses rear end to make them go faster. Now, people now - a - days may think, ''This is so wrong!'' and it is. But people back then had no idea it damaged a horse, so they were thinking. ''This is fine, this will not hurt the horse in any way. It is VERY wrong today. 5. Horse lessons. Although horse lessons sound innocent, 20 - 30% of horse instructors make student's use a whip to force a horse to jump over obstacles or to western or shows. This is used by 'Tapping' by the horses legs to make them do tricks. Most of the popularity in the United States have 'banned' whip's from their states. I am personally against any type of sport that involves an animal and a whip. I hope this had taught you SOME information about whips, Rando RatChild :) Please NEVER use a whip on any type of animal in and form of any way, Stay safe

The issue in this video is that she isn't abusing the horse with them, she is lightly tapping the horse with them. I never did say whips are totally harmless, all I pointed out is that people are blatantly calling her a abuser for owning one without even taking time to watch what she does with it. People continue to act like once you hold a whip it takes over your mind and makes you agressive and have a need to strike a horse with it. It doesn't. With banning of whips. It is fully justified because I'm not going to deny there are people who do intentionally hurt their horses with them to the point it is very much a issue that needs to be addressed and handled. Though that shouldn't mean we can assume someone intentionally harms their horses with malice intention just because they own one.

@@randoratchild3327 True, I'm the kind of person who likes jumping to conclusions to quickly. I know it's bad, I don't know when I started jumping to conclusion's to fast, but I just did heh. I know once you hold a whip your not the 'Bad guy' immediately. I remember once when I was doing jumping lessons at a different horse center, while I was doing another horse barn thing (I forgot or just don't know what to name it) but the difference between my Jumping Barn and the Free Ride Barn is that, The jumping had made me use a whip to 'Jump' obstacles. So once I had gotten to my Free Riding Barn, I told the instructer and she handed me a whip, I DID NOT use the whip in any harmful way, just as soon as 'my' horse saw the whip, he instantly just knew that if he did something bad, He would get whiped. WHICH was NOT true. (I would NEVER abuse any animal of any shape, form, or quality) all they made me do was switch the whip from one hand to another often. Then for some odd reason, my horse picked up speed and started to gallop. I fell off of him as soon as he did that. PHEW my story was long!

Just thought I'd clear that up!😊 But liberty is not something you can abuse a horse into doing.

You would know within seconds if her training methods were "cruel". You would be able to see it within seconds if you know anything about horses. I've trained and rode horses for 20+ plus years. I never use crops/whips/spurs because I train in natural horsemanship, if used correctly, like she did they can be great training tools.

Okay, I’m just gonna start this comment off with a disclaimer: I DONT CARE ABOUT WHIPS/CROPS/SPURS. I use spurs, and I’ve used over and unders, lunge whips etc before, but I use them correctly, not excessively smacking or jabbing just because, my mother would have yanked me down off my horse and whooped my ass if I ever pulled a stupid stunt like misuse of those things as a teenager, nowadays I’d beat my 30-year-old self. I personally don’t like using any whips/spurs/chains/blah blah if I don’t need to, but I’m not a hippie horse owner who’s gonna scream and cry about every Yoo-hoo who uses one of the above, however ... I WILL speak up if I see excessive misuse of any of them. Okay ... that being said ... Watch these horses body languages and hers, yes it’s cool to watch and yes it does take skill to keep shit from hitting the fan and not moving as fluidly as this performance did, but watch this woman and then go watch someone like Buck Branaman work with a horse. These horses constantly have stiff bodies, ears pinned upon cues etc, watch Buck, Monty Roberts or John Lyons and you’ll see a difference in the horses body language as well as the humans. This isn’t liberty, not really, the beauty of watching (and training) liberty is the use of nothing but human to horse body language, THATS when you as a spectator can appreciate watching a 1000+ pound Animal respond to the slightest shoulder shrug, hand movement, head nod, etc from the human, they’re working as one team, not a person with three beautiful animals.

midnightkitsume you’re welcome. I just feel that non horse people and for sure horsey people need to understand that this isn’t all they’re saying and thinking it is, I was raised on a lot of liberty training and watching a lot of Liberty trainers so ive had the pleasure to witness some pretty amazing and beautiful things done with horses and I feel people need to understand that this is such a painful thing to watch. Unfortunately the horse world is hard to change, some were taught to depends on whips and spurs, others have never touched them and then there’s people like myself who have used them, but know HOW to use them properly so trying to change the world to EVERYONE who rides or is around horses should have the “quiet hands, quiet seat, heels down etc” mentality is a hard thing to ask and expect because the horse world just isn’t like that, too many riders, too many teachers, so many ways to learn to do something and that’s why I feel even if you have no interest in doing liberty work with your horse, you still SHOULD watch someone like Buck or Monty Roberts do their work and understand what is/isn’t liberty, just like you’d go to other clinics to better yourself or your horse, going to one of their clinics is truly a magical thing. I think my heart is just a heart that loves the horses so much and I’m someone who purposely finds and takes in horses that have been abused or neglected and gets them back up and running to be rehomed, my heart just wants what’s best for the horse.

Mellie K true. I saw more than 3 times the horses were hit by the whip, and they response at a minimal movement or touch of the whip, and I guess you know how do horses get trained that way usually, right? By with I could watch, these horses were trained with the use of wrong techniques, and I can say so just by watching their reaction to the whip... Of course this is not liberty... Have you seen this french guy who I don't remember the name, but who has 3 friesians? That, THAT is true liberty, and he does use a whip, but as a toy, not even as a tool, and I HATE the use of whip, it is completely unnecessary when you have a great connection and know to treat your horse, btw, I usually prefer using spurs
