Frenchman Coulee- BLM Camping An Interesting Place you've probably never heard of- Discovery Short

This is the first of a new series on The West is Big Channel dedicated to showing you new interesting places in the west that you likely have never heard of. Frenchmans Coulee is a dry water fall and gully formed during the last ice age. After a glacier dammed a river forming a huge lake. The Dam eventually broke and 500 cubic miles of water spread over three states. Leaving a great BLM camping and hiking place.

Many spots in Washington that show the immensity of the ice age floods. Very cool stuff!!

I went to Dry Falls too. Another cool place I’ll make one of these shorts to show it off. I couldn’t find a good spot to fly over the scab lands though. Any hints?

Pretty cool. I grew up in Washington and loved to run around the east side of the State. Did you happen to check Moses Coulee and Jameson lake near Mansfield? Both are fairly cool areas as well. Also if your timing is right you can sometimes see the Northern Lights from the North Edge of the Columbia Plateau.

I like shorter videos, easier to fit in, and easier to stay focused. Either way, thanks for all the effort you put in to making them 👍😃

Great thanks. I hope more people agree with you. Not very many views so far compared to the long ones. There will be more short ones to come. unless not enough people watch.

That probably was created by a single massive event, probably a meteor that melted a big portion of the ice sheet. But it is a beautiful place, no doubt about it!

I’m glad for that- it seems to common to my subs. I hope you watched the New 100+ min Mew Mexico video and watched the ads it took 5 month of 5 days a week 8-10 hrs a day. so far it’s made less than $100. I like making the long ones but Frankly i can’t eat on that. I need the short ones to bring in income so more to come until they are combined into one long one.
