So people escaping conflicts and disaster can either wait for years to be processed (if they survive), or try their luck coming here under their own accord. We don’t need a Rwanda plan. We just need a massive immigrant camp to hold 100,000 while they get processed. If they know they’re gonna be there for years in very basic conditions they won’t come. Simple.

I may be wrong here, but the Rwanda bill is enshrined in our constitution now, so it will be just as difficult for them to 'end it' overnight, because of due process in Parliament. However, they'll give it a go - I'm sure!
