To claim Asylum in the UK you have to be on UK soil, so explain to me how, under the system, you propose, you could claim Asylum .????

It's disgusting. If you're a single guy, born here, made homeless and went to your local council in an area you've lived all your life you'd be told sorry we can't help you, you can maybe get a sleeping bag on a church floor if you're lucky to sleep at night in cold weather. Yet if you're a foreigner and rock up to our shores on a dingy, you are instantly fed, watered, and housed, all food, electricity and bills paid at UK taxpayers expense. They were even getting money on top of the benefits and 3 meals a day for snacks. People born here don't get any of that. We can't get a council house for over decade, can't get a GP appointment for 4 weeks, surgery cancelled 5 times, can't get your kid's in the school across the road because it's packed with Syrians, Afghans, Iranians, Pakistanis or Bangladeshis, Albanians. Told a 6 year wait for an NHS dentist. Fucking sick of it.

Yeah mate im mixed.. but from down Prembrokshire way. Was homeless for a period down there. When i walked into the Council to get help they told me to get on a train to find a job in Cardiff!! xD -- yeah homeless, with what money? With what level of cleanliness to get a job? Rediculous. This government is feudal. Medieval. If you are considered "undesirable" you got no chance but they happy to import and encourage cheaper and cheaper labout to come in (for profit margins) and for divide and conquer.

My daughter has been waiting to be moved to a bungalow on serious medical grounds for 9 years and they tell her there's nothing for her it's sickening as these are able body people

Clash of cultures is a real thing. You cannot ignore or minimize major conflicting interests when attempting to integrate humans any more than with other animals. You cannot expect lions and lambs to ignore each other just because you think it would be NICE for them to GET ALONG. Most cultures have perpetual ideals that will not necessarily HARMONIZE. In spite of what anyone thinks would be IDEAL. The Danish government is obviously not willing to take on such a project and I think they have every right to not even want to try. How about we just move someone into YOUR house without your approval? Or do you not have a say in the matter without being ostrasized or accused of being racist?

I’ve been in the same position as your daughter. I’ve luckily found a lovely bungalow but it’s at the cost of draining my family funds because extortionate private rent was the only option. I was stuck on the top floor of the townhouse I was in as I could no longer manage the stairs and I was isolated for years, had to have a mini fridge up there as couldn’t get to the kitchen. Financially strapped living here I have to live off £1 noodles, or carrot salad, could really do with financial help but council say they are too stretched to cover my shortfall, so I understand your frustration, I’m lucky enough to have my parents help, but I feel so guilty about it.

We had the same problem here in Australia. Unfortunately, it may seem heartless but a country can't have an open border policy. There are significant costs in housing and processing asylum seekers, not to mention that it encourages people smugglers and ultimately leads to deaths at sea. It's also unfair to those who are trying to enter a country via the proper channels and lastly; its interesting that those that have an attitude of allowing people in , forget about them once they are in and don't live anywhere near refugees..

Yes I'm Irish and I have to have a holiday visa to go to Australia and can only stay 3 months and have to have a sponsor in Australia. I cannot claim asylum as there is no conflict in Ireland but there is no conflict in Albania Afghanistan now Chad Nigeria Algeria and so on

I don't even recognise this country anymore. I feel like I'm in Pakistan every time I look out my window or walk around. My parents once lovely little town is the same. The Tories should never be forgiven. Our rates of asylum acceptance is much higher than other countries. It's like they just rubber stamp ever claim without even caring if it's genuine. They've even allowed most Albanian claims.

uk never had the infrastructure to cope with asylum seekers not under tories or labour neither bothered however uk,s work force is too small to cope with it,s demand immigrants do fill that void, same in u.s many immigrants fill jobs that others won,t do or a work force so depleted, can,t do, without infrastructure it all falls to peices, it,s going to get worse, because a smaller work force means closing businesses and that means less taxes ect, and results in proportional represnetation, where taxes remain in the community, ect, still, tories will do more hamr to before pps wake up, and i doubt labour will right the infrastructure either, uk will soon be little albania lol x

Why not just reject the claims? You surely don’t want migrants from Pakistan or Albania any more than from the EU. You got Brexit done and EU citizens are no longer welcome, know it and don’t want to come. But maybe you secretly want these Albanians and Pakistanis?

Trying to cross a country's border on a dinghy while you're wearing expensive brands, belts and jewellery definitely doesn't come across as suspicious.

I am Albanian and it is totally your governments fault because you take the emigrants you give them everything for free and let them loose free to do anything they want. Just keep them in camps until you return them and they will think twice to make the trip. We have a huge shortage of emploees because of this fenomen, I can't find people to work on my shop.

The UK and US have the same problem. Whether its the English channel or the southern border, we need to stop it.

They need to go after the criminals that are organising this. There doesn't seem to be the political will. Send the special forces to deal with them. It could be sorted very quickly.

My friends came here 4 years ago . Got asylum . But we not in danger in our country, but the rewards is astonishing if you get to the UK My friend gets 14k a year in his bank and free food , medical services, clothes and getting a education and he also goes shopping and steaks so much stuff it's unbelievable and he just Keeps getting a warning from the security guards at the shops . He is staying for 10 years and he said he will have 500 k when he leaves and can live like a king in Albania. He said the British are so kind

Thing is economic migrants will come with a work visa and a job to go to. 239,987 economic migrants arrived in the UK with a work visa in 2021.

@@cryptouk7985 81 per cent of people arriving by other means were granted aslyum in 2021. Therefore, the majority are not economic migrants as you define them. Also far more people come to the UK with work visas granted than those who come by other means. The data for all immigrants is easily available online and disproves your assertions.

We had thousands of Indians coming by boat and hundreds drowned. Our government said “we decide who comes to our country and who stays.” And if you come by boat you will never be settled in Australia. The government processed their status off-shore and if that failed they were sent back to where they came from. India started to stop the boats and we would turn the boats around. It virtually stopped the boats overnight. We are a very generous country with regard to immigration but there is a process that has to be followed. I fear the UK will be just a social benefits country for migrants. Good luck.

Sadly there is such a high amount of Bulgarian, Albanian , Polish etc gangs over here. My friend put up a Bulgrian Woman in one floor of his house. She worked, paid his low rent, but over time stopped paying. Her boyfriend moved in uninvited, said he was a builder decorator and could do work for him in exchange for he rent. So my friend gave him £2k to help redecorate their bathroom in the floor he'd rented to them. After two weeks, no sign of the decorating being done so my friend asked them leave and give him the £2k back . He came back from work to see they had left, and had been in his [part of the house and stolen several antique paintings.

A couple of things here don't sit well for me.. firstly they're not really what I would describe as "small Boats" that was quite a big dingy with an engine and it had like 40 odd people trying to get on it. and B. In my youth I was all for migration of any kind, dissolve all borders and just let the people go wherever they please I would have said. Looking back I see that I had very little clue about much of anything and wasn't appreciative of the positive aspects of the socio-cultural situation I had been raised in. Being twice that age now I've seen and experienced a lot more, considering how hard & mean life can be I now think i was very lucky to have grown up in the UK during period I did, I now appreciate that the socio-cultural situation here in UK should not be taken for granted, I can see the quality of life plummeting downwards for what I would suggest is probably the majority of regular folks in the UK. This country is generally run by Eatonians from very wealthy backgrounds who seem to be completely out of touch with the needs and lives of most of their constituents. Look what they've been doing to our industries and NHS for decades. Hospitals were struggling hard even before Covid, now they're really in crisis. Crime is rising while our Police force have taken to dancing around in drag, investigating tweets and allowing rapists to simply apologise to their victims(!) I have seen city schools overflowing with children who don't speak English and in many cases are being raised by families who have no interest in integrating with the UK population, they came here because they heard about the free money the free housing and the soft-touch locals and in a lot of cases, not all, but many would rather set up communities entirely independent of British culture and in some cases even British law and apparently we're all supposed to be fine with this, just keep calm & carry on. Despite many Brits viewing Germany's All Welcome Here type stance on immigration , one thing they've done more about in Germany then we do in the UK is a national effort to integrate immigrants into the culture and communities, with widespread efforts to educate newcomers about traditional German culture, values and lifestyle. A number of people I've spoken to here in the UK seem to think that process is racist somehow, but it seems like a very obvious way to make the best of a difficult issue like this, the UK tests when applying for citizenship are kind of a joke. This is a small island and the growing inflow of many thousands of migrants every year is obviously not sustainable. Rampant Globalisation at this point in history has created opportunitiesfor some, but far more problems as we are now seeing, fragile supply chains and the dissolution of local cultures & values that are beginning to slip away through our fingers creating an understandable rise of progressively less silent majorities in once proud nations who are now seeing what they are set to loose. All this combined with swift technological 'progress' the ramifications of which we don't have time to study or fully understand, we're so enamoured with the flashing lights we're ignoring the negative effects. It's all pretty chaotic, I feel like we need to put down our smart phones, take a breath and think all this through a little better 😵‍💫

As a landlord who frequently has to vet peoples documebts as part of the "right to rent" legislation, i can tell you that there are still a tonne of Albanians (and Bangladeshis and Pakistanis, and Nigerians and Indians) who are here fraudulently ans who dont have any proper papers. Theyre not getting deported....

In France, in 2021, 45% of deportations outside the EU were to Albania, with Albanian nationals subjected to more detentions and deportation than any other.

It's absolutely unbelievable what our government is allowing to happen to our country and its people. This can't go on, complete strangers filling our beaches day in, day out, costing us millions and millions of tax payers money, as our own people have to choose between heating and eating. We certainly don't want the Albanians, just look at what has happened to Sweden.

As a French person, I think that if you don’t want these people coming to your country, it is illegal for them to seek asylum in your country. And if you want to seek asylum, the only way is to apply to the country’s embassy. edit France has a massive border that is not just in Europe but spread all around the world and the topic of illegal migrants is a very devise topic. This is due to the fact that we have the biggest population of Jews, Muslims, Blacks, Arabs, and the most eastern Europe in western Europe. But I personally think that illegal migration is just a white elephant that politicians can easily point at. To make you look away from real problems like the economy and housing.

It is illegal under Section 24 of the British Immigration act and section 2 of the Immigration and Asylum act to enter the UK without a visa and/or a passport. Unfortunately ECHR law overrules UK law and we are still a member of that at the moment. Liz Truss has offered that we will be leaving this if she gets the job. Things _like_ this were some of the main issues that lead to Brexit. Don't hate on me for on this, I voted remain, but we are a democracy and leave won. Also don't believe the bull that British people have any issues with the rest of our European cousins, it was the unelected Brussels bureaucrats having control over sovereign member laws that caused the disagreements.

Why should it be France's problem just because France is the place so many migrants go through to get to the UK? In America law breaking is called unauthorized, while the U.K. calls it irregular.

This is happening in my Country Greece for years. My island of Lesvos and it’s People have been suffering for years. Europe did nothing to help.

oil and gas wars will bring in ww3 soon that will reduce the worlds population by TWO THIRDs , then the scarcity of survivors will take the human race back to stone age, we human kind can not live in peace our survival depends on taking from the other we have not learnt to share. Many times our ancestors reached their peak of organised civilization and their growth in knowledge but each time we have destroyed our development our selves or by natural causes, we have never benefited from this planet

Atleast one country is being smart getting rid of the dangers to their citizens.

I want to add one little thing and that is ...All members of organisations solicitors and barristers that are against deportation of criminals should be forced by law to live in the same neighbourhood and streets where this kind of immigrants live. To see how they will feel about their kids to walk every day on the streets where they are exposed to aggressive behaviour drug trafficking and prostitution to see if they will feel the same about the "poor" criminals about to be deported in their mother country. I will gladly vote for a law like this to be implemented and i am sure that most of you would do the same.

All those countries including Romania and Bulgaria are light years more developed than Albania, so it's not a suprise they were let in the EU, and Albania is left out, nevermind most of the problems in UK are caused not by actual Romanians or Bulgarians but by Roma Gyspies from those countries.

There are more Albanians living outside of Albania than in it, from Italy to Greece, Germany, Austria and on and on, and it's not even in the EU, let alone when Albania will join the EU! The country is way worse than any of the EU members in anything, from corruption to salaries, Albania is way behind Bulgaria, Romania, Poland etc, so when will join many more Albanians will migrate to Western Europe. And not even mentioning that Albanians are literally the n1 nationality in UK prisons, despite there being just 47k Albanians in UK... but besides that, British people were in general skeptical about Eastern Europeans coming to their country, just look how they treat Poles, Romanians, Bulgarians, Albanians, for them are all just poor Eastern European workers, but it wasn't their decision to let some countries in the EU, it was decided by Bruxelles...

The problem should solve itself in a couple of months, once word gets out that life in Britain is more miserable than life in Albania - which it probably will be this winter.

@@SCP--ck5ip these laws reflect the aftermath of ww2. This is an invasion. Where are the women and small children. They make up like 2 percentage and it’s probably for diversity quotas. Real men do not leave their mothers, sisters, wives and daughter to escape war. They make sure they get refuge whilst they stay and fight.

@@TheRightHonRai Having actually studied this issue, I can tell you it's common for the farther to take the long, dangerous journey alone to secure a life for his family first. Suggesting laws put in place to stop what occurred during the holocaust are bad is abhorrent.
