I remember from elementary school french that Feminin words usually ended in "e" and I was right about 90% of the time

The thing that worked best for me and hopefully it will for you was to talk to myself (in English when I was learning English) and to be curious. Let's say I was drinking a coffee, I would try to describe the coffee and the taste in my head in English, if I didn't know how to express something I would look that up. It's also a good way to get out of your comfort zone because you can have little conversations with yourself about everything you are doing during the day. Probably not the things that you would practice with your French on a daily basis. I hope you are not going to think that I am crazy 😅

Salut Dylane, super tuto. Merci beaucoup. Une exception : La plage. Aussi, les noms qui correspondent à une personne : masculin - un acteur, le chanteur, un vendeur. Les noms qui ne correspondent pas à une personne : féminin - la peur, la chaleur, la fureur 😘😍

this was really helpful. but I am not still sure of how to identify how to classify genderwise if the word is ending in e. actually I'm in 9th .could you give me some tips? please bcz I have an exam today and need to get this doubt cleared.

I hope I am not answering too late! Just remember that 90 percent of the time, it's going to be a feminine nouns. Unless it's specific to a man - Un dentiste / Une dentiste Let me know how it went please

They can be both 😕 The rule is that 90% of the time, if the country ends with a E it's going to be feminine
