What if you just put a new nox sensor in and the light comes back on?

What if it’s giving me that code but truck is deleted?

I just had knox sensor replaced , the def filter and some injector replaced , and codes reset at jubitz service shop , cost $2016 and 2 days later the same engine lights came on. I think i have faulty harness.

You need codes pulled with proper diagnosis. Information is key for you because vagueness like "some injector" will bite you. Details are your best friend.

Hello Francisco .. I have a 2014 Freightliner DD15.. Currently dealing with three codes.. 1. SPN 636 fmi 2 related to cam and crankshaft sensor sync... 2 SPN 3216 fmi 2 inlet nox sensor... SPN 3251 DPF Pressure High.. I've had the filters removed and cleaned three times in the last 2 months... SPN 3251 normally goes away after reinstall and doing a forced regen.. My question is could the reason the filters keep getting clogged be because of the NOX Sensor failure and replacing the Inlet NOX Sensor will prevent frequent need to pull DPF filters and clean or if still have SPN 636 related to Camshaft still keep the aftertreatment system from doing passive regen as the truck goes down the road? Truck normally does 400 - 500 miles/day. Thanks for any advice or help!

All those are separate problems. Every 300k miles +/- you should clean them.

+Tony Ibarra Yes, 16 volts is high. Check your alternator remote sense line. If the remote sense line is connected to the alternator check the voltage. The remote sense line should have 12 volts + If there is not voltage check the remote sense fuse located in the fuse box near to the steering column If the remote sense line has voltage, replace the alternator.

Yes, it is possible. Also can be caused for bad wiring.

The front one is the one after the DPF and the rear one is the after the scr

Hello Sir, I replaced my nox inlet sensor but wasn’t able to do a regen. Nox inlet sensor code is gone but I am now getting nox inefficiency code. If I do a regen will this remedy my problem. The check engine light goes on and off but the warning light stays lit. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Great videos!

What year is your truck and how many miles does it have ? My 2014 is doing the same thing.

I have a low DEF light blinking and check light on as well I changed both the nox sensors and metering unit and a new filters After 5000 miles Same lights came back on have to park and did a region thats how it started idk what to do

Low emission warning, this is caused by a high NOx emissions. You need to check your SCR system with the DDDL software to inspect the reason why the emissions are low. It could be: A bad outlet NOx sensor Bad DEF delivery Bad SCR box Low scr temperature.

Francisco Amaya the red light come after my 3rd attempt to do park regen it says to frequent regen. If I disconnect the speed sensor what you think would I be able to move to next freightliner Shop?and thank you for your response.

Yes, you can disconnect the speed sensor but you need to have a spare speed sensor to connect to it to override the system and you will be able to drive more than 3k miles to reach your city of destination.
