Freightliner A.C problems

A.C. cut off. We checked all the usual suspects, high pressure switch, low freon, blower motor burned out, hidden relays. Nothing was out of the ordinary. A fluke led me to see about a problem that was "in related " no interior lights. Well, the fuse was red hot, I replaced it, and the A.C. worked as the engineers designed it to.
Similar to a LVD, low voltage disconnect, in sleeper cabs knocking out your interior lights, this was a unique find.

my 2016 m2 106 the a/c blower won't do anything, I replaced the blower and works fine for few weeks, but now won't do anything again, I check the blower fuse and is good. any ideas?
can anyone tell me if there is another fuse box or relay for the AC compressor on a Freightliner SD14

Haymond As far as I know, all fuses and relays for the AC are under the passenger side dash. Why do you ask? What's the truck doing? Usually an AC compressor not kicking in comes from a low freon charge. Try jumping the high side switch with a paper clip and testing your voltage at the compressor plug. If you have volts, freon or an expansion valve is your problem.

@@charlieabbot3649 it's a Freightliner SD14 there are no fuses under the passenger dash the only ones are under the hood but there is no fuse or relay for the AC system or AC compressor

I'm getting no power to the compressor so i was trying to make sure that i didn't have a bad relay or fuse before i move on in my trouble shooting

Got mine compressor on and off after visiting dealership…Freightliner cascadia… changed compressor and it’s doing the same thing ….
