    Your unboxing video is the only one I could find on KZread. I just purchased this model from MotionRC. I didn't know it had flap capability. Looks like I have another order to place. BTW Great job!

    WOW - I didn't realize I had any sort of "exclusive" on this - LOL! I'm glad you watched. My unboxings are kinda long and boring (at least I think) but they're usually uncut and super detailed, so no "funny business" covering up for manufacturing screw ups or shipping damage(s). I hope you might come back for more ;) I've got a new series starting later next week that will be pretty cool, if you think about checking back in. I suspect you'll like it if you're in to EDF jets. Good luck with your A-10, it's one of my harder planes to LAND...flying is just fine, but there's just something about this plane that demands a PERFECT landing. It's beautiful, and it's kinda HEAVY, and it's kinda got a lot of crap mounted on ALL the sides, making it tough to transport, when you do finally get her ready to head out to the field, so make some plans as you assemble her, since you might want to make some of the antennas removable possibly...other than those things, she LOOKS good, and flies good...just don't forget to STICK the landings 100% of the time - LOL ;)

    Sound of this upgrade will be interesting! As will be how the retracts hold up. :)

    caught the videos this morning again. enjoying them all. keep up the great work my man. quick question do you have an opinion about the 9 and 10 channels flysky radios?

  • @BrianPhillipsRC

    @BrianPhillipsRC

    7 жыл бұрын

    I don't know anything about flysky. I get something I like, and NEVER change...so don't let me stop you from enjoying something different. I just happen to be a Spektrum guy. Keep in mind, as it pertains to radios, and receivers, keep withing the same DSM, DSMX, or other protocol, and then you'll be able to use whatever transmitter with whatever radio... Thanks for watching!

    I've been looking for an a10. I've been on the fence because i like to have a high number of blades. preferably double digits. 11 blades sounds awesome

    Sorry, it ended up being 12 (I think). I misspoke, sorry! P.S. All the ordnance glues on to the wings, except for a HUGE "drop tank" that is magnetically attached in the middle...soooo cool!

    That's why I'm so torn as to how to go about fixing it. The spare parts are cheap enough, but I can't replace my fubar'ed nose gear box, and then even if I can fix it to function properly and fly, the plane will never have the "super scale" appearance that I love about this plane.If you got the cash, order them so you've got them ready to respond to a crash, right?I suppose you've seen my new A330-600 videos from last night by now? If not, check them out...great takeoffs, passes, and landings - the trifecta!Thanks for watching and for comments!

    Did you run all the wires for the wing under the battery compartment ? (through the speed controller compartment) I tried to run them through the battery compartment but not enough room for the battery. I added flaps so that's extra wiring. None of the wires are long enough. I'm going to add extension cords on all the wing channels. Will the speed controllers be too hot for all these wires next to them ?

    Sorry I missed the answer. We've been upgrading out internet this weekend (and all week too...fighting intermittent issues) so I've been away from the computer more than usual. I'm glad to hear you saw the info you needed though!

    I got a freewing A-10 for Christmas. While assembling I noticed the wires on the motors are colored. Red, black and yellow. The wires going into the fuselage are all black. shouldn't the wires in the fuselage be color coded as well. Not sure how to hook it up. Nothing in the manual about it.

  • @BrianPhillipsRC

    The ESC leads don't usually end up matching the colors of the Brushless motor leads. Basically, the brushless motor is an AC motor, and there are 3 poles. If you hook it up "wrong", then you just have to swap any two of the three wires and the motor will rotate the opposite direction, as before. This is a common issue. In fact both of my Supreme-Hobbies planes came with the EDF's both wired wrong, but the colors matched...lol - Chinese QA, right?!? I don't even remember hooking up those wires, but I assume I must have done it... Just give it a shot. Make sure you test your rudders before getting it all glued together. I had a bad rudder servo on the one vertical stabilizer, and didn't check it till she was assembled...then I ended up having to work it out after the fact. Actually, it wend fairly smooth, with VERY limited (and only superficial) damage to replace it. MotionRC took care of the part, as they always do when things like this happen, and I had it fixed in a few minutes and lots of stress!

    I was talking about the EDF's on my A320 which is still crashed. The parts are not all available, and who knows when they'll come available, so I thought the 64mm 12 bladed edf's, could be the way to get it up and running.

    Are you a commercial pilot? What do you do for a living?

  • @BrianPhillipsRC

    @BrianPhillipsRC

    No, I'm not a pilot. My channel pictures were taken from photos with my dad, who is a private pilot. Some day, it'd be nice, but it's super expensive! I've just always been into planes and aviation and RC. I work on industrial scales for a living. I install, calibrate, design, configure, and program scales and the related periphery equipment. Sometimes into custom scale applications, and sometimes stand alone applications.
