    Brian, Megan...So happy to see your dreams coming true. Can't hardly wait to see it in person. Got a plan of action getting set up for my better half towards a path for healing. Praying it all works out so we can venture out more. Take care my friends. I wish the best for you and family too. :-)

    Yea finally!! Pond looks beautiful guys! Yes Brian there is only a few planes that actually turn well on the water. Especially with some wind. Look forward to future pond videos! The Albatross from Avios on Hobby King is a wonderful plane to fly and great water plane. And can't wait to see you fly freewing jets. Especially the F14.

    I dont know why they sent you self tapping screws because the drill bit part is a tiny bit bigger then the threds and it wont bite down.i would personally find me some all threaded screws.

    The fish are a good idea, because they'll keep the mosquito population under control. Mosquitos love to lay their eggs in that stagnant water.

    Hi Brian! I'm just getting into RC flying and am seriously considering either the Apprentice STS 1.5 or the FMS Ranger 1.2 in the RTF format. I've watched your videos relating to these individual planes on your KZread channel and would really like your recommendation(s) as to which plane you would recommend to learn to fly. Thanks! ~Mike in Atlanta

  • @BrianPhillipsRC
    @BrianPhillipsRC19 сағат бұрын

    The Ranger is EASIER to setup in the RTF configuration. The Apprentice STS 1.5 might be a slightly better overall flight experience. TOUGH CALL... If you like the 1.2m Ranger, you could then jump into a BNF for the Apprentice, saving a few bucks, and get into a computerized transmitter, like we use all the time, and you'll be miles ahead of the competition ;) bprc.me/Apprentice vs bprc.me/FMS_Ranger Sorry to give you a politician, "non-answer" but there isn't a right and wrong...but very preference driven here. Both are very good choices.

    Brian, I have a few questions. First what species of fish are you gonna be putting in that pond? Second. Question what are you gonna do about leeches and bloodsuckers in that pond? I’m sure that you guys are going to be swimming in it, and that will be a concern! Being the water is not constant coming into the pond I wouldn’t worry about all different elements that could take place in that type of environment ! You might wanna invest in a bunch of bug zappers for the mosquitoes because that’s gonna be a mosquito mess. Question number three I see you have solar panels installed on your roof and I know that you guys get a lot of snow And all the solar panels that are sold in my area is the first question I ask when you’re trying to sell me those are they heated to melt the snow and ice off them because if they’re full of snow, you got all that extra weight on the roof and not producing any electricity?Thank you in advance for answering my questions. Happy flying Brian and filming Megan!😊👏👏👍

    We don't think leaches will be an issue, but will update you if we do start to see them. Already stocked in the last two weeks... Bluegill (300) Bluegill Hybrid (100) Bass (100) Catfish (100) Grass Carp (8) - 4 died, but the fishery is replacing them...they had a few die at the fishery...spawning issues Minnows - 2 Gallons (~1,200 - 1,400) LATER...this year September Yellow Perch (150) Crappie (150) Walley (100) Solar - snow is not a huge issue. Production is weak during that period of time, but we had snow covering our panels for maybe 10 days in two years. If it's heavy enough, it'll slid off....sounds like an earth-quake. As for LIGHT snow...that can suck bad, since it doesn't slide off well...once a part of the bottom of the panels warm up, they clear off quick To be frank, I could talk for hours about solar, and need to make a video about it...it's complicated, and expensive, and NOT RIGHT FOR EVERYONE...but for us, it meets ALL our objectives...we're going to be here for a while (or someone is gonna pay us for the full value of the system...) and it will allow us to be essentially "off grid" if we wanted. We might need another $10,000 worth of backup battery, but even at that, and with 30% tax credits, we could have been "off grid" for about what we paid for electricity delivery - no joke. It's crazy to think about, but getting power here was VERY VERY expensive. Solar and Backup Batteries were also very expensive, but they will eventually make our power FREE...but at 1/10% performance degradation per year, that's still VERY good life past the length of the "loan"...which is, 1) Transferrable, 2) Doesn't impact DTI for loan underwriting, and 3) 0.99% for our loan!!!

    So whats the problem between you and MOTION RC. Thats kinda important to know.

  • @BrianPhillipsRC
    @BrianPhillipsRC19 сағат бұрын

    MotionRC won't work with us. Don't want to go into too much more, since it's kinda "old news" and they're very stuck in their mindset. We've decided to just kinda move on for now, but if the door opens, we'll gladly step through it. Don't mean to be dismissive, but I also don't want to be unfair to them. We have objectives, and they have objectives - we just can't get them to overlap enough to make a deal...that's pretty much it...but they are being pretty dang hard-headed, and it's frustrating. We just want to be a tool for our amazing audience, and MotionRC has a strangle-hold on Freewing and Flightline, as well as NextEra, all of which we ant to share, but basically can't get past the protected distributorship that MotionRC holds - TMI, sorry - don't want to bore you
