Freedive - Landyachtz Freeride Longboard

It's about time we had a single kick freeride longboard in our line up again! Following in the footsteps of the Osteon and Peacemaker, this board gives you the stability to skate fast and hold out long slides but also gives you the luxury of a kicktail for all of your skateboard needs. It was a collaborative design from team riders Clayton Arthurs and Matt Noseworthy.
Made at our Factory in Kimberley, BC featuring 7 plies of Canadian maple and 2 layers of fibreglass to keep it extra stiff and super durable.

Are you still straight on the board? Because that makes it dig and grab and thats what makes you fly. Start slow and get reallly low and work on small hills and learn to carve tight then you will feel the wheels slowly break free. At that point is were muscle memory will start. And then after getting comfortable with that go a little faster lean into carve and put your weight backwards towards the top of the hill. Like your head should be pointing to the top of the hill status. Gloves will major help to break free and gain confidences if you dont have some. But once you get that carve in and learn to kick the back foot out is when the crazy slides will happen. I took me nearly a year to get decent slides and revert back and fortv comfortable. Keep it up bro!!!

I'm convinced that people who bomb hills are a different breed, I have seen some seriously sketchy runs.
I have kind-of this board (a topmount36 by kebbek) but i miss a kick sooo much. i also painted it so it kinda looks symmetrical. Will there ever be a tomahawk again? thats what i had before, twice. I miss it so much, pls make it again.

Good question! We put CNC'd wheel wells into the board so you can turn extra hard without any bite

If you can ollie in general you should be able to do it with that board In general the Freedive is a great board my absolute favorite out of everything I have tried

Hell nah, if I want to slide give me a 9two5, come on Landyachtz how many more lineups untill it’s back? It’s basically a flat switchblade, it’s a shame that it’s been out of the lineup for almost 5 years now
Has anyone really clocked ur speed while doing this ??????? Ludicrous speed…… Looks fun …..but that is a skill I could not do …..I would get into that turn sideways / face plant and use my teeth to get around to control the slide and then would have to somehow get the power to push myself back up straight ……..so essentially I’ll jus watch u guyz do dis!! 😝
