Old school skater from the 70's here... Started out with plastic boards and loose bearing wheels! I skated many of the spots you were at back when I was a kid. Was the 'Slide Jam' at Alms Park? It looked kinda familiar. The only thing we lacked in the day was good pool bowls. Midwest pools are not like California pools. All square corners, no rounded bottoms. We used to skate drainage ditches when the weather was dry. There was a good one near Ridge Rd. and I-71, but with new development, it is never fully dry anymore. The riverfront was not as developed as it is now, but we did skate the embankments under the overpasses and stadiums. Glad you liked Cincy!

Dude is a great instructor. Point out a mistake while noting the positive (student's commitment) and offer a correction. Good stuff. This is a good technique for teaching people that can apply anywhere.

I have the Bengal tiger uv ultra lite and I gotta say I love the board it's my in town cruiser for when I Wana go to the store hit the park going down slopes we really don't have hills in Florida haha so I can't comment on it there but like the video say i would tighten the trucks the board is really nimble i have the big dipper and I can't remember the other ones name it's the one a size smaller then the Strauss and I gotta say this is one of my favorites so far next to big dipper that's my baby 😂

One of my friends got a new Commuter board So he gave me his old dinghy classic And that is by far one of my favorite commuter boards that I own Just don’t get the bearings wet because they rust really fast

If you get them wet just make sure you give the wheels a few spins when you get home to get the water out. They'll last a long time if dried properly

It can! You might want to run a slightly taller riser pad or just be a little bit mindful of wheel bite (especially at low speeds)

The track I went to last week had tall sharp peaks, narrow too. The Dinghy could make it without scraping, but staying on course was really challenging.
