Free Project! Mix it Up Treasure Bracelet

Тәжірибелік нұсқаулар және стиль

There are endless options for making unique, personalized versions of this Treasure Bracelet. It's a timeless classic design. While the Mix It Up version uses all 6mm Czech pearls, the basic technique can be utilized using any beads from 3-6mm (or even bigger for accents!) I talk about those variations in this video, and show just a handful of the ones I've made over the last 18 years.
You can find the instructions on our Free Patterns page at: jillwisemandesigns.com/patter...
And you'll find all the supplies you need to make it at: shop.jillwisemandesigns.com/
Kits coming soon!
The bracelet I'm wearing in the video is Pretty Posies. You can find that video here: • FREE Project: Pretty P... and the free PDF Download of the instructions is here: jillwisemandesigns.com/patter...
The necklace I'm wearing in this video is the Shell Game Spiral Rope, and the video for that is here:

    You are the first maker I have seen to address the lighter clasp problem. I've watched so many videos and seen so many bracelet pictures with unbecoming clasps that will always be the most visible part of the bracelet. It's hard for me to understand an experienced beader who thinks it's okay to just slap on something to keep a bracelet on. The clasp must be an integral part of the piece, and not just a line of crimp beads and alligator clasps. KUDOS to you.

    Thanks for the lovely video, Jill. I think I am a fairly experienced beader but it was great to watch a detailed 'beginner' tutorial to remind myself of the right way to do things. I love these bracelets and have made several but really appreciate your tips on making them more easily and with a very pretty result. Thank you!

    Thank you, Jill! This is so beautiful and looks like fun. It’s going to be my next project. Thank you for these free tutorials!!! Btw, I’ve been beading for over a year now and this was the first time I’ve ever heard the reason for using a new thread for the clasp. It makes so much sense! I will definitely be doing that in the future. ❤❤❤

    The elegant elements slider clasps work very well if you use size 8 seed beads for the base. I love those because you only need to slide it over the beads without having to do any stitching

    I use the smallest size of the elegant elements as they are pretty wide. I have even tried only using size 8 seed beads for the last 2 rows to attach the clasp but use size 6 seed beads for the base because it is quicker to square stitch and embellish with the size 6 seeds. They just don't fit inside the sliders

    Lovely bracelet and lovely tutorial from a lovely person , I have a lil question dear if we want to make it with all the seed beads like you made one then what is the ratio u used for the loops because mine looks sparce compared to ur lovely caterpillar type bracelet

    So pretty and looks very addictive. I love the colors in the sample and also the one that was all seed bead mix. On the all seed bead one, do you do a one strand fring on every base seed bead to make it more full? Thanks for this great project.

  • @JillWisemanDesigns

    @JillWisemanDesigns

    Жыл бұрын

    I had to go grab the sample to look! No, I still did 3 loops on one row and 2 on the other. There's no reason why you couldn't do them over every base bead to fatten it up. This project is very flexible and customizable!

  • @JillWisemanDesigns

    @JillWisemanDesigns

    You can play with the number of beads in the loops until you get the look you desire. The more seed beads in the loop, the more movement you'll get with it which can be really fun. Fidget bracelet!
