Free Project: Flat Festival of Lights

Тәжірибелік нұсқаулар және стиль

Every time I make a Festival of Lights bracelet, I think how pretty it is at various stages before I get to the end. So I decided to make a flat version that celebrates the path along the way!
The free PDF download of the written instructions, along with links to the items needed for this project can be found at: jillwisemandesigns.com/patter...
You'll need:
Size 11 seed beads
Size 15 seed beads
4mm Preciosa bicones (up to 2 packages, depending on length needed and clasp)
SuperDuos
6mm jump rings
Clasp of your choice
Fireline, 6lb
Size 10 or 11 beading needles

I have been a very shy follower of your jewellery and love your explanations as to how the project is made, the calmness/assurance in your voice for beginners to at least try and make the attempt, thank you 😊

If you put the bracelets on one arm , it would look as though you had made it especially for the blouse you are wearing. Perfect color match. You see? You're so good, you don't even need to think about it! 😀

Love the bracelet. Though I used 3mm bicone instead of 4mm and I didn’t have to skip a 15/O. Love this one! Thanks Jill.

I am not a fan of bangles so this is great for me. Thank you! I love your style girl! You walk us thru all the possible pitfalls so we don't have to fall into them ourselves. This beauty is on my list today.

Thanks for the vidpeo, I just love your videos. Also remember that Sarwaski (spelling?) crystals and pearls are difficult to come by now. Are the superduos duracoated or the Czech version of it? Others have mentioned in this video, but i find you to be relaxing and an excellent teacher. If I am trying to remember a technique and there are many bead/jewelry makers out in the KZread, I gravitate towards your videos for the refresher. Your videos are just the crème of the crop. To be honest, I find them so calming that I sometimes listen and fall asleep to them. It is good for someone with ADHD to find that soothing voice to help quiet our minds.

Love this! Thank you for sharing this, Jill! The different beads for embellishment and the different color combos can make this very addictive to make. Lol! I was wondering if you could use a 3mm bead with a seed bead on either side, you could avoid the waviness. I also wondered if it would make a difference to use Miyuki vs Toho seed beads. Thanks for a great design!

Hi Jill great to see you're doing tutes again have missed seeing your creations. I love this bracelet can't wait to try it. I have to add my comment about you being a brilliant instructor, I really enjoy your videos. I wanted to ask what gauge the jumprings you used are? Also are you shipping to Australia yet I tried to buy some delicas earlier this year and discovered that you weren't shipping to my part of the world. Also thank you so much for introducing me to Hana thread it is brilliant I do a lot of intricate weaving with delicas and have found that Hana is so much better as it doesn't fray and fur up like other brands do. So thank you so much for doing that video. Seasons greetings to you and yours.

I came up with a flat bracelet inspired by this bangle, as well. A little different than yours. If accepted to the group, I will share a picture on the Facebook beading group. I made SO many bangles! Love them.

Would it stop the waving if you used a smaller crystal, allowing space for placing a 15/0 on both sides of the crystal throughout the entire bracelet?
