Thank you so much. How about “Mrs” in Chinese?
@IamNoLongerHuman

According to Wikipedia, Nǚshì 女士 (Ms., Mrs.) was initially used only for addressing married women, although this custom is gradually diminishing; 太太 (tàitài) (Madam) is the most common word to address a married woman, but never used in formal situations. It can be used after her husband’s surname or on its own. On the other hand, only in formal contexts, Fūrén 夫人 (Madame; Mrs.) is used. The usage is the same as 太太. Hope this helps:)

Your surname is the name that you share with other members of your family. In English speaking countries and many other countries it is your last name. More detailed lessons in this course EverydayChinese101: www.everydaychinese.com/everyday-chinese-101/
