hi I am studying Chinese. I found your channel and watched this video, but I am confused because at the begining of the video you say FEN as part of minutes. so according that as example about minute, 12: 55 minutes, you say 五十五分, but then you say also later , 11:15 十五分。 so the position for minutes can be before and after 10. i don't talk about o'clock. thanks

Yes. To show units of ten (20, 30, 40 etc) you put “number + 十” if you want to show a two digit number you’d say “Number 十 number” (55 = 5x10 + 5)

the third line is incorrect. you had an extra 点 before 钟。

or 4:20。二十分。 so the 十 is after the number talking about minutes but later the 十 is before the number so that is my question 十 can be after and before .

Isn't possible to say, 7:30 七点两刻？or, 7:45 差一刻八点？

er dian (二点）which means 2 o'clock is equally fine. I dun know where this teacher is from.
