I want to thank you very very much. I'm a 74-year-old woman who lives by herself in a small mother-in-law rental. My landlords a sweetheart but he is, unfortunately, inept. I fix every small thing that I can so that I don't have to rely on him because a. He panics and. b. It'll probably cost a lot of money even for small things. All it took to get my toilet to stop running was tightening the screw down a few turns.. yay yay yay ..... this makes me so happy, again thank you very much for this service to other people. And I absolutely did subscribe 😊

I’m in my mid 60s trying to keep a roof over my head & go to KZread for help. I tried to tighten the screw but it was as tight as it would go. I sat down and watched the rest of your video and saw how you bent the rod. As I was unscrewing it the water stopped running. I’m not checking it again until tomorrow but thank you so very much for this video. You gave me peace of mind and hopefully not a higher water bill. Thanks again! You’re awesom!

Thank you so much!!! We tried tightening and loosening the screw that didn't work. But that last tip about bending the metal piece WORKED! it finally stops running the water constantly. You are a life saver! Now we don't have to pay an arm and a leg to have someone do the same thing or a costly bill to replace something that doesn't need replacing yet!! Thank you!!

I'm glad you mentioned bending the rod, that's what I did a year ago but just thought of it in the moment. Glad others think to bend as well if they have the old style float
