This is just like back in the days when Frasier was interested in his old babysitter but she was more into Martin.

I felt bad for Freddy. He felt a connection with her...but she preferred his father, Frasier. And he really begins to believe there is something wrong with him emotionally when it comes to relationships. Perhaps the blame is more to his parents....because of his own emotion disconnection with say his own father....he doesn't want to get hurt again...perhaps because his father wasn't always around growing up...and who knows his relationship with Lilith. I mean the one person we know he was close too....was his grandfather Martin. Which makes it harder on him emotionally being he passed away....

This was such a classic Frasier-type moment. The only thing missing, compared to the original, would've been a little more physical comedy in the kitchen; particularly when Freddy went to turn the gas up. Niles or Martin would've made a funny face while doing it and quickly turned around and tip toed out of the kitchen. Add more of that silent comedy, and this show will be firing on all cylinders.

@@samf.s.7731 classic him is him arguing with lilith, not constantly failing at dating that was the worst part of the original frasier. it was funny at first but got stale by the time that niles and daphne got together.

@@samf.s.7731 Did they just live together...or was Frasier married to Charlotte for like 20 years. That's what I tried to understand...nothing about a divorce was said either....just that they broke up.

I loved this scene so much. It was funny but there was a lot of character development too. Unfortunately Frasier as usual sabotaged it at the end in true Frasier fashion lol.

Try having two beautiful sisters and being the ugly toad and paying more attention to housework cooking college homework church mass and trying to help those who need it 😢i know why they are desirable because they are not overstressed by the worlds problems but i commend Frederick he will not settle for less and really he needs someone like his auntie Daphnie truth now that is what he should look for well worth the wait truth

Living with your dad is rare 20 years ago. But, today it is very normal for people that are not married to still be living with their parents. Usually it is only people tha don't get alone with their parents moving out these days.

So, the IMDB for this show is a train wreck. For those of you curious, "June" is played by veteran TV actress June Diane Raphael. If any of you saw the show Whitney, she's Chloe the fiancee that Alex left via text. (0:00) What friend? Eve is the one who set her up on the blind date and surely Eve would know if there was a bidet. So that leaves...who...exactly? (0:20) That is the fastest pee in history. There was exactly one cut to the kitchen, so that is clearly a woman who is lost not a woman who is done urinating. (0:42) "My friend set me up with this firefighter..." exposition yet later whoever she's talking to asks if there's a bidet. No one would ask that unless they already knew where June was and this is the resolution to the "bet with a friend" from earlier. (0:59) Fredrick puts his empty glass down on the counter. If you watch, when he steps away in a few seconds it will be magically gone. More importantly, he's now drinking from June's glass. (1:01) Osso Buco (Italian for "bone hole") is a stew. It was boiling earlier. In fact, not only should there not be enough liquid in the pot to boil over by now but it's supposed to be in the oven tenderizing. This is contrived. (1:20) This is a guy who one episode prior said, "What do you think, David, that after I rescue them they just want to shake my hand?" Freddy knows what he's got. He's not gonna sweat this. They keep mixing up their characters. (2:03) Frasier chased down a woman and lived with her for fifteen years. That was the aligning of the stars.

@@catherinecampbell1215 Let's concede that point. She wasn't there to see Frasier, she was there to see a firefighter. If the person on the phone knows about this (thus a previous bidet conversation), the exposition is incorrect. On the other hand, if the person on the phone is hearing about all this for the very first time, why would they ask about a bidet? That's what hit my ear as odd.

Ossobucco. Is brasied, not boiled, veal shanks.

@@AllisonLansberry If I concede for a moment that you are correct, that makes it worse. Why would you use a boiling pot to braise tied veal shanks? Surely a man who is proven to know what a poi ramekin is would have a proper rondeau. Also, what starch is there in such a dish that would allow it to boil over? Osso Buco is two words--"bone" and "hole". A double-C in Italian is the "ch" sound in "cappuccino". "Bucco" means "cheek" and in Italian jowls are served as "guanciale".

Will Frazier ever date someone age appropriate? Probably not, and this has been problematic since the first series. Come on guys, we can do better than this. Just try to get Kelsey Grammer passed his enormous ego
