I was shocked that she's in her 60s and still looks the same and appears to have stayed away from plastic surgery and botox.

YES, book her back on the series FULL TIME. She has always been a fantastic loveable interesting character. The show needs her.

The original series has my heart….its my bedtime happy place. I still laugh out loud and shed a few tears. I’ve struggled to like to reboot, I really wanted to. The last few episodes were “better”, but omg, bring in Roz and I’m a crying baby. Such a beautiful nostalgic episode. ❤

Yeah! It has so much scope & stories left to be told. Stick with, most new series can be slow starters, like meeting new people & then they grow on you. Very rare few people are open & out there when you first meet them. Fictional characters can be the same, if cleverly written.

I actually really like the new show. It has potential to grow into a great show, but I do really miss just SOME of the original cast so it would be amazing if Roz became a part of the show again! Always loved their friendship and chemistry!

I don’t get to watch full episodes but from what I have seen via clips on YT the episode with Lilith was the best one. It felt like Home. As dumb as it sounds, when I saw her I clapped,smiled and cried all at the same time. Now if I get to see clips with Roz, I’ll do it all again. Thank you to whoever (?) whomever (?) puts these clips on YT.

Lilith and the season finale are the best, I've watched them all. The 2nd half of the season was a lot stronger, the 1st few episodes the writing was too corny and cheesy.

I love seeing Roz back.

Peri Gilpin is more beautiful today than she was 20 years ago.

I have watched all 8 episodes, I'm looking forward to seeing Roz in episode 9. Im loving the new Frasier. I think you need to watch more than 3 episodes to find out for yourself.

Yes, Peri and Kelsey work off of each other and it really works!!! It would really help to have her back. I have noticed some overacting with the girl across the hall. The success of the original cast, was the lowkey natural acting. I really want to see it work. It also needs to be available to more people, not a streaming channel. It was available on a major network, and belongs on a major network.

@@Leadeshipcoach Eve has a baby and a job at the bar but finds time to do a bunch of silly thinks like play a student in Frasier's class or waste time with Freddie. That's not the life of a single mother. I see no reason for her role on the show. The actor who plays Freddie is annoying and David is such a dolt that he has no part of Daphne in his character and Martin was his grandfather too but you'd never know it. I find the whole show forced and the laugh track is so annoying. I wanted to love the show but I gave up on it.

I really think another original cast member is needed and I can’t wait to see Roz. I’m caught up to episode 9 and the only memorable episode to me was the one with Lilith. I could be biased because I loved the original characters so much but I’m just not connecting with the new ones.

I would unequivocally love, love, love to see Peri Gilpin return as a regular cast member. I would even settle for having her be a recurring character. Peri is great and Roz is awesome. I beseech the powers that be to please make this happen.

At the end of the episode "Our Parents, Ourselves", Frasier did say, ..."yeah exactly we marry each other", Roz replied, "I was gonna say kill each other". Soooo marriage maybe?? The permanent addition of Roz would be excellent! Who knows, we might be surprised and even get a future visit from others like Bulldog, Kenny or Gil, maybe even some others, even if briefly, like for a birthday or Christmas, the actors could always change their mind and do a quick appearance.

I'm a hardcore Frasier fan and Imma stand beside him. Bring on Roz!!!!!!!!!!!!

I love Kelsey, I think he's a lovely genuine guy, Fraiser is the best sitcom to come out of America, it was different from anythingelse & that what was made it so great, that & the chemistry of the cast. It was amazing, and I never bore of watching it. You have to remember that this new Series, like any new show needs to find it's feet. I think people prefer the more pompous Fraiser and 20 years later, could be worse! I do hope the original Fraiser characters come together again, they were a real class act. Nick Lyndhurst is an amazing comedic actor & has come from Comedy Royalty in the UK. His own Sitcom "Only Food & Horses" would make an interesting cross over with Fraiser! Daphne's family in Fraiser were more like Nick Lyndhursts Family in his Sitcom - only worse! Two of the greatest & funniest sit-coms ever made in the English Language, very different but superbly written & acted! Great to see Peri as Roz too! Sitcom needs a bit of Irony, Sarcasm, realness & absurdity to it! They have all the established ingredients, but is what is a little lacking in the new Fraiser. It has great potential! It absolutely deserves to be the same success of the past!

The problem with the new show is Freddy the Fireman. It is not true to the original character. No child grows up THAT different from BOTH of his parents. Young Freddy on the original show was Lillith and Frasiers son. Freddy in this reboot is not. They should take a page from "Dallas" and make all of the Freddy the Fireman episodes a nightmare that Frasier had.

In part it is lack of chemistry between the cast, and Fraiser being more laid back. I thought he would be worse with age! Lol 😂 Any new series needs time to establish itself. The past one was brilliant & I believe this can live up to the same!

My favorite couple for Frasier

I have watched all episodes of the revival. I was never a mega Fraiser show fan, but I am a fan of the Fraiser character if that makes any sort of sense. Nevertheless, I had tapered expectations for the revival, and I have been enjoying it pretty good.

I love Peri Gilpin with Kelsey Gramer. They were super funny on the original series and she would add just enough spice to the new series. I started rewatching the original recently and can’t stop laughing.

I hope we also get to see Frasier's brother Niles as well. I love the two of them together. I watch the old Frasier & can't wait for the new Frasier. I'm in & I'm hooked. Frasier is it. I love the way he gets disappointed.😅

It was interesting seeing Peri Gilpin in the same scene standing next to Ted Danson. I think a lot of people don't remember that, when Ted Danson was on the last few seasons of the original "CSI" series, Peri Gilpin had a recurring role as the wife of Ted Danson's character.

Those 2, Roz and Fraser were comedy gold in the original Fraser as well as adding heart to the show, as good as Niles and Fraser. It would be very good for ratings if she continues in Season 2 and moves to Boston and works with Fraser.

omg, please no, not the celebrity of the week dropping by. that was the Lucy Sows formula, always a celebrity or star had to be there nice a week, that gets old really fast. The cameo of Lillith and Roz should be enough, otherwise they could have of kept Frasier back in Seattle and continued with his life...

It needs more than that to save it. Some writers over 30 who actually saw the original show, perhaps. This show’s premise from the first episode had so many problems: You’re in Boston and mention CHEERS. Whatever happened to Cheers and its regulars? We want to know. Eve and the baby are broke because her boyfriend/the baby’s father was a fireman died in the line of work. There no life insurance/pension/Social Security check/GoFundMe that would at least comfortably provide a 1 BR apartment for a first responder's only child? (This isn't 1912- we've got lots of things in place for such tragedies now.) Martin would have to have been over 90, and yet he flew across country alone to counsel his grandson, then returned and died soon after? Not likely. (More believable would have been if he had called Freddy constantly and Freddy had gone to see him.) How is Freddy so blue collar in his tastes and interests? Why is a small 1BR across the hall from a 2 story luxury unit? Harvard’s psychology department needs PR and a big name to promote it? The most prestigious, super high admission standards, and richest university in the nation- THAT Harvard- needs a TV personality to give them a bump? Whatever happened to Cheers and its regulars? We want to know. (It bears repeating.) Nobody knows that Freddy’s father is TV’s Frasier Crane even though TV’s Frasier Crane is a Harvard psychiatrist with Boston ties, Freddy’s last name is Crane, and Freddy’s mother is a Harvard educated psychiatrist? Eve actually works, but the baby… are the writers not familiar with babies and sitcoms? They just don’t work after the wacky birth episode. That’s why they’re raised elsewhere and just seen once every blue moon, like Freddy was (or Ross’s son on FRIENDS, or Murphy Brown’s kid). Otherwise you have to constantly explain who’s babysitting and see the child and all that. (Speaking of, who stays with the child when Eve works nights and Freddy’s on 24 hour shifts?) A 30-something sexually active and attractive young man who has been semi-estranged from his father for many years decides to move in with him to save rent. NO. I think most people are like me: they'd have to be close to homeless before that would appeal. Freddy has been independent for years, can’t be that desperate for money- firemen don’t get rich but they also don’t starve and as Frasier's constantly reminding him he doesn't have student loan debt, plus if he was in need his mother’s also a psychiatrist. Alan is his best friend for 40+ years that’s never been mentioned until now- not even one time on CHEERS (speaking of, what happened to Cheers and its regulars, btw?), not on FRASIER? John Cleese would have been far more believable since he was at least on Cheers. Lilith is in Boston but doesn’t know where her only child is living? It would make more sense that she retired and moved to Florida, otherwise she’d have known about Frasier and Freddy living together instantly. David- good actor, ridiculous character. It would be more believable that Niles’s son is punk than that he’s the clone of his dad. Also, whatever happened to Cheers and its regulars? We want to know. (It bears repeating again.) The worst part is that ALL of the new actors are great. If there’s a second season, they need to completely restructure.

TL;DR. The new actors aren't great, but that's okay...the parts they're playing are caricatures.

I don't think we have the caned laughter in the uk version which I prefer. I love Fraser it still makes me laugh out loud no matter how many times I have seen the episode :)

I would love to see _The Return of Roz_ permanently! I watched the original series from day one to the end. Bought it on DVD over ten years ago. Still love it. I'd love to see Niles and Daphne visit their son David. Of course, they would see how Frasier's doing too! But Peri could easily be written into the show. It could be as easy as yes, the radio station (KACL!) was bought out by a Conglomerate, and everyone was fired, and she wants a fresh start too. And she misses Frasier! Maybe she didn't know how much she would miss him until he moved away. There are MANY ways to address the "why?" of her moving... Maybe she took a job in Boston!🤷 There are lots of ways to bring her into the show.

I was amazed that every commenter wanted a Cheers or Frazier cast member without giving the new cast any grace period. I like the new cast. You didnt mention Bebee Neuwirth was in an episode.

The new show can't come close to being great without them. I do like the actor who plays Freddy. Frasier's good friend and his female boss, I can't warm up to.

Even if her character doesn't have a clear way to fit in story wise, she could bring a bit of the old charm and chemistry. I saw the whole thing and still think the son was a terrible miscast, so any little help from the og is truly appreciated. Even if it's not as great as the original kelsey has such carisma that it's something i was missing in my content diet, so I really want the show to succeed.

The comment about Kirstie Alley's death impacting the new Frasier is wrong. She's the one cast member who never appeared on the original Frasier, due to his being a psychiatrist, and her being a wacko Scientologist. I think the real reason is, Grammer was quite a bit younger than the rest of the cast, save for Woody, and they're too old.

This revival is fantastic! I think people were giving the first episode too much flack not realizing its main goal was to set the narrative and introduce all the characters and new locations in one half hour show. It's gone from strength to strength. Kelsey is great.

Roz is the only hope for the show! She and Frasier should realize they should be together and live happily ever after. Didn't they do, in one of the old shows, a if we're ever x age and we're still not married, we'll marry each other? They should do that and then it turns real.

Great to see Roz (Peri Gilpin) and Lilith (Bebe" Jane Neuwirth) in the New Frazier show 😊. hopefully they will both be back in Season 2. She looks softer now. Maybe excellent plastic surgeons, but she's also clearly taken very good care of herself. Maybe just good genes. If she comes back to the show, (which I hope she does), she should have a secret crush on Frasier, but is afraid to let him know for fear of ruining their friendship. Freddie would see through it, and tries to help her as he is his dad, but doesn't want to screw it up so also keeps it a secret from Frasier. Together they plot, and funny situations ensue, much like Niles and Daphne...

Frasier Theory Carla from Cheers js Eves mother it’s a bit of a stretch but could be kind of cool. Eve Actress - Jess Salgueiro was born in November 1987 making her 36 years old. Whether she plays that age in the show is another story but let’s say that’s her age in Frasier. In 1987 cheers was still on TV. It’s season Six now in the episodes released in October of 1987 Carla gets married to Eddie Le Blac she has two children Elvis and Jesse - What if Jesse is Eve This would make a great way for Carla to appear in the Frasier Sequel series That’s the theory. Other than that they need to fix Alan and David as Alan is literally only a drunk and comedically it’s ok but it’s abit overkill and David needs more purpose to be there as he is a Niles replacement being that’s his son but he feels detached from Frasier life

So agree about Alan and David! I like the Alan character more needs to be done with him. And David definitely needs more development. I would like to see him and Freddie become closer like Niles and Fraiser. Also you Eve idea about her being Carla’s daughter is…intriguing 😊😉. I think they should bring on Alice …Rob’s daughter. Let her have a crush on Freddie…and David have a crush on her. Another Maris/Niles/Daphne type dynamic

I hate to say it I had so much hope for the reboot, but they need Roz as a character to help carry it until it gets some footing. In my mind it isn’t there yet. Also, I hope using the Lords name in vain isn’t going to be a habit as I saw in a couple of the early shows. If so, it won’t matter who he brings in. So unnecessary.
