A very intelligent man. Very honest, classy, nicely dressed. Had to be hard having a father like Frank Sr. He died on tour, doing what he loved. Good thing to put on a grave stone. Nice guy.

I had the great pleasure of meeting Frank Sinatra, Jr. in 1974. In speaking with him for several minutes, I found him to be an immensely nice and caring individual. I also had the honor of meeting his father (who was also very kind to me) the following year.

He may be the son of legendary Sinatra but he's no ordinary son. In fact, he's very extra-ordinary. Courage and distinction in this man are obvious. The interview told me that. I wish for Frank Sinatra Jr. much in the way of success.

His father got all the accolades. He got the crumbs. When I hear him sing he sounds exactly like his father. Just as good! But because he was not the original he suffered by comparison. He couldn’t win. RIP

But I think he was fine with all of that, as he said, to him he was just pop, I don't think he was trying to compete, but I do think that he wishes that his father had spent more time with him, but such is the life of being a child of someone famous

He was the butt of jokes, from creeps like Don Rickles, but as he aged, junior came into his own more and more. Not as a singer but as a man. He was not his father. He was a decent singer, at best. He came into his own more by being his old man's strongest supporter and confidant. He emerged thru sacrifice to be himself. I was impressed with all of his interviews towards the end, this among them. RIP Frank Jr. Your father was proud.

Good Interview. "When the Legend becomes bigger than the person. You loose the person" very profound. Nice he shouted out The Great Jack Webb. He knew him. Has anyone seen the episodes of Adam-12. Created by Jack Webb & Robert Cinader. Frank Jr played a Cop on a few episodes of the show, also one episode he played a Asst. District Attorney.

Frank Jr. was a very nice guy, deep thinker, a bit of a philosopher too. I like what he said about separating the two personas; My dad is Pops and on stage he is Sinatra. In a way, Frank Jr was much more of a man in touch with his feelings and a very tender, sweet person, more so than his father. Although, I’ve seen Frank Sinatra show his tender side to us more so when he got older in his 70’s. I know when Frank Jr. was alive, he had to go through all the questions about his dad and what kind of a person his dad was. But, I feel, we truly lost a very tender soul when Frank Jr. left us. I would of liked to get to know him, as I found him to be a fascinating person.

Frank Jr was very smart and insightful , so how did he stand this interviewer? Actual "questions" are non existent - and the totally fake leaning in to listen thing that he does - pretending to be deeply interested in what Frank was saying - that had to drive junior nuts.
