When I was a young man, I grew up watching him and I never forgot a saying he had: "to those of you who believe nothing need be said, to those of you who don't believe nothing can be said." I still remember it to this day and I'm in my 70's now.

Kreskin is 80 years old in this video yet he has the hands of a 40 year old in appearance and movement. Amazing yet again!

Thanks for posting this. I love Kreskin, not just his charisma but his integrity and honesty. For some reason 2 days ago his name popped up in my head and I did a search. Wow! What a treasure trove! Hadn't thought about him in over 30 years. And may the Lord bless him he is still with us at 87 years old. Thanks again. Appreciate.

I have watched Kreskin all my life and I'm still amazed. He's the king of magic and slight of hand.

I was one of 20 college students who volunteered to go on stage and be "hypnotized". I don't think he put me under but he had people around me doing some weird stuff. He claimed there's no such thing as hypnotism, it's just the power of suggestion. I've wondered if there weren't shills from the drama dept. I wish I had a video of that act.

Pretty cool! It's like a version of the ambitious card trick. You can see a couple double lifts and he uses the one handed pass too.

The whole trick is palming cards. The final 'trick' is palming a card with his right hand and placing it on top. The bit about the first trick he learned is diversion to make you think he flipped cards around.

Great great master of sleight of hand ! I’d hate for everyone to know that’s there’s 3 ace of clubs used in this trick… oops sorry about that 👍

Alll but that last move (which I have no idea how he did it) was all quite clumsy and basic. That last move though, damn!

0:29 Watch the initial shuffle ~ he never moved the first 5 to 10 cards! He has multiple aces in the first few cards.

I think you are correct, at 0:29 when he is showing that "this is a complete deck of cards" he conveniently stops while fanning out the cards before he gets to the top of the deck

There are much simpler ways of doing the ambitious card than using doubles. The card is traditionally signed to keep people from thinking this as that’s always the first guess. Obviously he doesn’t actually have a spectator there.

  • @cricketbat09

I like him, but he is over-selling a very common card trick. We all know he isn't actually putting the ace in the middle of the deck.

No, many lay people don’t know that. You can always tell the people who have just learned some basic sleights because they make comments like this.

  • @TheHyproglo

the real trick is how can he possibly know immediately the the card was 14 cards down and again 31 cards down. no way you can guess that without film editing

  • @lorenzstransky5520

Very simple trick, not difficult at all, except perhaps, for Kreskin. I figured it out right away. As for his technique, his double lift is absolutely horrible. I know beginners who have better moves that he does. You'd think after doing card tricks for so many years he'd at least be good at the most basic card move in the repertoire.

You obviously know very little about Kreskin. Most magicians couldn't be even close to his abilities in their whole lifetime . The only mentalist Johnny Carson continually brought back onto his show to perform. The best of the best.

LOL...He is not a card handler...why he would make such a video when he knows magicians are going to watch this and bust out laughing at his awkward card antics? I've seen better hands on a mannequin....stick with mentalism

Because he’s not performing for magicians. Why some magicians are obsessed with fooling other magicians will never make sense to me. Look at the comments. People like Kreskin. People like this routine. Even if it’s not the smoothest and doesn’t use the latest and greatest sleights, it feels like magic to lay people because they like him and his performance. The moves are entirely secondary.

It's just a $20 magic shop trick. It's not even his own.
