It's actually a Line-X auto shop for installing truck bed liners. Plenty of room for some good whoop racing! :-)

Hey there, do you have any camera recommendations? I've tested a huge amount recently but found nothing that I would consider as good. Pinch is out of stock with no sign of being available again soon and the nano3 is only available with the narrow lens. Everything else I've tried has a major downside. Thanks, keep the content coming 🙂

That's a great question. Whoop cameras with a wide FOV are not easy to come by these days. I wish they would bring back the original lens for the Nano3, or make something equivalent. I think the Ant Lite has a pretty wide FOV, but I don't think it is as wide as the Pinch. The Betafpv C01 (not C01 Pro) is another decent contender. I haven't tried the C02 yet. Good luck.

@@MrShutterBug Thanks for responding, that pretty much confirms my suspicions and tests. There doest appear to be any decent whoop cameras available. With peak season approaching that seems crazy to me. I'll save you the time with the C02 its a 16:9 aspect ratio sensor so the image is cropped badly and squashed in the middle, if you fly 4:3 goggles don't waste you time with it. I have a couple of C01's but prefer the Pro version. Ant Lite FPV cycle edition (4:3) on the way in my last attempt at finding something decent. 🤞

Is it possible to build a whoop that is capable of 3D flying?

In theory, yes, but you would need props that generate acceptable thrust in both directions. Most whoop props would work pretty poorly in reverse. Anybody know if a good whoop prop or 3D?

This build is still running Emu with dual-axis steering. It's flying great, but BF also works well with the right tune. They have a different feel, so I think the most important thing is to fly whatever you're comfortable with. Emuflight does not support the new ELRS SPI receivers though, so I might be switching all my whoop racers back to Betaflight soon.

@@MrShutterBug I was just choosing new FC with ELRS, but without any good results. Happymodel 2G4 ELRS AIO is heavy (4,57g) and BetaFPV F4 AIO ELRS (3,13g) is without vTX (lightest found is 1,13g, M03 BetaFPV). Finally, I decided for DIamond F4 and EP2, that is 3,42+0,44=3,86 g and EMU ready. Do you have any favourite FC for new ELRS whoop?
